Why is customer service now so rubbish @HSBC_UK ? 45 minutes hanging on the phone before it clicks off. You're closing dozens of local branches. There is no one to talk to. Why would anyone keep their account with you any more? I've had mine 50 years wonder why.

@Albertspanner @HSBC_UK Many years ago when god was a boy I worked for Midland Bank. It was taken over by HSBC. I got kicked out in 1996. Back then customer service was everything. How times have changed.

@HSBC_UK placed our account under review 5 months ago and have provided no info on the review for 3 months. The only contact made was to send an offer email to help with rising living costs…how about @HSBC helps by completing the review and contacting their customer of 15 years?

@HSBC_UK I’m pretty sure the credit of nearly 10k you have given away in my name like you’ve unlocked Hatton Garden for frauds can be applied for 24/7 which surely means you should have people avail to help victims of it 24/7. This is so panick inducing in what are not easy times

@NormanBrennan to be fair , @HSBC_UK stopped my card from working on a sunday night last shop open , and i get on the phone to india to sort it out waste of time told to go in branch all because a £2 drink from asda was suspected fraud what a waste of energy that was

Literally every time I try to do anything through @HSBC_UK's business banking it is a nightmare. It's 45 minutes on hold to get transferred twice before anyone can help you. Every. Single. Time. Do not use them!
