@Liberation2005 @iPoof @HSBC_UK Are you telling me that the bank and developers of THEIR APP aren’t responsables? Who I need to ask to update or fix HSBC UK App? They have a responsibility to provide a good service and a fully working app with or without beta.

Having a frustrating experience @HSBC_UK adding a signatory to a church account when existing sig. is 86 and not internet savvy. Been told branch no longer offers meetings to sort things out and he must use website. Going in circles & having to consider moving banks. Any advice?

@HSBC_UK Do I have to ring up to register for phone, online and digital banking? My account is open but it's not clear from what I've had in the post if I'm supposed to get my security numbers/login details etc by post or if I need to get it all done over the phone.

@Liberation2005 @iPoof @HSBC_UK I think we still can complain if the app is not working (the only banking app which is not working actually) so I don’t see your point at all. Beta or not beta

@HSBC_UK please don’t ask me to call 03457 404404 as I’m not getting any help when I do as there is a process. Aunt lives alone and now has no money to pay the people who care for her ……

Scott G (@scottgardner76) reported
@hipstamancom @HSBC_UK They have no intention of fixing it, because it is not broken… they are purposefully blocking iOS16 and they refuse to add it to the whitelist. They are effectively causing the app to crash!
-
Mark Byrne (@byrnemark_j) reported
@HSBC_UK yet another shocking customer service experience! 23 mins on the phone and I still can’t get a payment cleared. In this call I was questioned about my tax status?!

Hello @HSBC_UK The #iOS16 public beta is out and your app is still not working. Last year the same thing happened but after lots of complaints, you made it work *before* the final iOS16 release. Can we skip the complaints this year and make the app work for iOS16 now?
-
Glyn Jones (@thebiggj) reported
@HSBC_UK Struggling with your lousy systems to set up online banking under Power of Attorney. Two visits to branches, one unsuccessful call yesterday. 44 minutes on the phone today. Then I was cut off by you - because no one at HSBC knows what your error code BERR_20295 means?

@LucyCKinch @HSBC_UK Moved to @monzo years ago and never looked back. Customer service has been great whenever I've needed it (which is not very often!)

Believe me, it isn't "easier to self-serve" when trying to resolve an issue with @HSBC_UK.
