@HSBC_UK I’ve done so, and have managed to get this down to 5 days before I need to call the number I’ve called three times already to be pointed to the website each time. This is awful.

@HSBC_UK I have had an account taken out by someone else - a case of identity theft. Unfortunately your team who can help only work 9-5. Not really good enough for a leading global bank. I am worried about this and no one can help me until tomorrow.

@CruisingTheCut @HSBC_UK I have been with Barclays for 32 years now and never had any issues with them. The couple of times I had significant life problems (stuck in Venice with the Iceland ash cloud, and stolen bank cards) they were very helpful and things were sorted very quickly.
