The Twitter team say they can’t arrange call backs for security reasons. It appears customer service isn’t a concept hsbc recognises.

But your online banking is utter shite! I know security needs to be tight but honestly getting launch codes from NATO would be easier than your login process! 😳

They hold on to your money even after it has been canceled from the end recipient and won’t give that money back to you for days and just keep them in pending compared to banks like @monzo or @RevolutApp who would return the money very quick

But after a week neither have contacted my wife after she phoned 3x & #hsbc social media team say they can’t arrange calls for security reasons. What an abdication of responsibility for customer care.

And customer services agent still trying to find out someone in HSBC before he can raise a complaint. Rude and very poor customer services.

Pratik Bhongade (@mpratik02) reportedHey @HSBC_UK , can you imagine if someone needs to get a 6 months up to date bank statement for his account he needs to chat or call customer service, they raise a request and ask you to wait for 2 days, it’s been 5 days I asked for the statement and still waiting. It should a simple date filter in the app to get the statement, don’t you think so? I recon, I am bit frustrated now with this amazing service.
