@HSBC_UK I'm a long time HSBC customer, never had problem for over 20yrs, but trying to open an account for my teenage daughter has been an absolute nightmare and really poor customer service!

@sazcass @HSBC_UK I use hsbc and had no problems since I verified my id in the branch. I think since I was deaf since birth, I just accepted that this was the norm and expect it automatically-I also had to go into branch for change of name since getting married. But It’ll be good to see change.

@StarlingBank good interview on @VirginRadioUK this morning. I switched from @HSBC_UK after loads of problems - took them 10 weeks to close my old biz account 🙄 I use starling for USD payments, so much easier, cheaper and great customer service 👍💪

@HSBC_UK No you need to put clear guidance in the public domain to help all your customers, maybe that way you will reduce pressure on your call centres and chat services and reduce the disgraceful wait times your customers currently face.

Absolutely appalling levels of customer service with @hsbc_uk business banking -phone service over 1hour wait - but no responsiveness on the Chat app either. If you’re looking for a business account look elsewhere
