No adverts normally increases quality, without the anchor of the Beeb, they would sell more and more advertising, meaning less quality.   @jo_beckett @cajardineMP @SamGyimah @joswinson @ITV ITV have made the decision based on negotiations with Johnson and Corbyn. The decision on the debates should be made by an independent panel...and if Johnson and Corbyn have a problem with what the panel suggests an empty chair can always fill in for them.
