BBC news is doing nothing to help this issue of over 75s paying the TVs licences from next year. That comes has no surprise. Only ITV have taken this up and will fight for people who are least able to fight.

No adverts normally increases quality, without the anchor of the Beeb, they would sell more and more advertising, meaning less quality. @ITV please give #maternal another go! I loved it & it got good reviews. But not enough viewers?? Perhaps the title put people off - totally misleading, conjuring visions of leaky *******…Focus was actually misogyny and women at work. Rename it, rebrand it and bring it back!
