No adverts normally increases quality, without the anchor of the Beeb, they would sell more and more advertising, meaning less quality. Wouldn’t it be better if television programme makers want an MP to make a sustained appearance on a TV programme to arrange their schedules around the parliamentary holiday periods. That way the MPs can work full time on their day job serving their constituents interests. @ITV
