Part of the issue is that a lot of people have a problem with cruelty affecting certain species but couldn’t care less about others. That really needs to change. This was a national event to thank people for heartbreaking work which has been relentless. It ought not to have been open to privileged family members. It's inappropriate & I feel strongly about it.
