Part of the issue is that a lot of people have a problem with cruelty affecting certain species but couldn’t care less about others. That really needs to change. Police officers do not go to work to be fatally injured, wounded, injured or even threatened and when facing a life threatening situation the gloves are off and anything goes until the threat is removed
