Part of the issue is that a lot of people have a problem with cruelty affecting certain species but couldn’t care less about others. That really needs to change. And clearly her tax barrister has over-egged the pudding somewhat to help her case but had she been contracted to ITV there would have been no ambiguity. Lots of BBC “stars” have had the same issue the other way round.

Just because a few Jews lived/ inhabit that land doesn’t make it strictly theirs. Besides, over the course of 2 thousand years multiple empires and states ( all non Jewish ) controlled / occupied that land. Apart from a few hundred years during the kingdom of Israel period , the large majority of inhabitants of that land were non-Jews. So there is no continuity. In any case you can’t just come back after thousands of years and say because I’m Jewish I’m entitled to some land, unless you want serious problems. And that’s what we have now - serious problems.
