@darrengrimes_ Channel 4 is an exemplar of how a public boby should work: it’s completely self funding, is independent of any commercial forces which it means it can concentrate on its job: providing quality programming and unbiased news (provided for them by ITV!).

If we are able to throw them at plug stage it is less wasteful altogether than throwing them at a finished stage. Yes... awful. But lesser of two evils for many of us.

@JennieGow @bbcf1 I remember the first F1 race on ITV. It was around 5am, Moss was live in the studio before the race. When asked about @therealdcf1 ‘s chances he replied “The problem with Coulthard is that he’s just not enough of a bastard”. Jim Rosenthal nervously has to apologise!

The probs I have w/this season of #LoveIsland are about the guys being shallow, their lack of bonding & camaraderie, &, worst, that we’ll spend the rest of the summer watching the women take back men who lied, cheated & gaslit them—& @ITV’s big solution is to bring back…#ADAM?!?

Watching @ITV at the moment and there’s been about 5 adverts for @BritBox_UK in a row. I was starting to think that there might have been some technical issues… but @itvlondon is on air now so it seems to be okay 👀

@itv @GMB Susanna Reid saying Boris is performing well on the world stage! he is not all he has done is throw money at problems instead of tackling things properly and effectively supporting other counties and its all done to try make himself look good.
