@darrengrimes_ Channel 4 is an exemplar of how a public boby should work: it’s completely self funding, is independent of any commercial forces which it means it can concentrate on its job: providing quality programming and unbiased news (provided for them by ITV!).

If we are able to throw them at plug stage it is less wasteful altogether than throwing them at a finished stage. Yes... awful. But lesser of two evils for many of us.

@JennieGow @bbcf1 I remember the first F1 race on ITV. It was around 5am, Moss was live in the studio before the race. When asked about @therealdcf1 ‘s chances he replied “The problem with Coulthard is that he’s just not enough of a bastard”. Jim Rosenthal nervously has to apologise!

The writers on Emmerdale are the worst in uk soap history, they’re terrible at their job and should never be allowed to work in tv again

@emmerdale @ITV @WeAreSTV It's funny that people want her to go, and say that the storyline is awful etc.. There are people who do what she is doing. People like her exist, unfortunately. The soap is portraying a narcissistic, manipulative person very well #Emmerdale
