If we are able to throw them at plug stage it is less wasteful altogether than throwing them at a finished stage. Yes... awful. But lesser of two evils for many of us.

@JennieGow @bbcf1 I remember the first F1 race on ITV. It was around 5am, Moss was live in the studio before the race. When asked about @therealdcf1 ‘s chances he replied “The problem with Coulthard is that he’s just not enough of a bastard”. Jim Rosenthal nervously has to apologise!

@prodnose @ITV I'm not defending him or govt, but impossible decisions had to be made at unprecedented times. Easy to judge things now, but what else would you have done? Covid was the cause and the govt tried to work out the best/least bad way through it.

@GMB Shame on @ITV for even thinking a person responsible along with the rest of his government for over 180,000 should appear and get paid for a tv show is remotely acceptable. Our media is totally broken!
