@ant_thedesigner That's a shame. It used to be the opposite problem: KCOM overpriced, the rest of the UK had caught up and the customers are left with no choice because of KCOM's monopoly as an ISP.

@PJBuckingham They outplayed us at the KCOM so it was entirely predictable given our "Not-up-not-down" mindset!

@F1Gollum @bennyboy599 I certainly wouldn't be accepting that - although as mentioned you need to speed test with a patch cable and not via WiFi (which your ISP can never guarantee performance of - it depends on your property and placement of router etc). Have KCOM checked the speed to your router?

@KCOMhome everyone on kcom experiencing the restricted downloads demand a rebate each and every month or it will never get fixed

@AndyMedcalf @F1Gollum Not for a long time, and to be honest I can’t even remember the outcome now. Surely though as we’re using KCOM equipment throughout, and speeds are dreadful even sat next to the router, they should at least be able to suggest a solution

@G79Rumi @Plusnet Don’t bank on a resolution even if they do finally respond. Cant wait for KCOM to roll out in my area. Plusnet has gone downhill of late despite what they advertise!

"All our customer experience advisors are busy" says the KCOM helpline hold music. Customer Experience Advisor. If that isn't the wankiest job title I've ever heard, *especially* for a tech support helpline.

@KCOMcare can someone help me please? You keep sending bills to my uncles house when KCOM was notified that he had been found dead 17th March shortly after, my sister was then advised the account had been closed down and the nominal amount had been removed from the account?

@angus_young61 I think it's the light pollution from the pitch lights used to help the grass grow at the KCOM.

@angus_young61 It's the lights from the KCOM that help the grass grow. There's probably a technical name for them.
