KCOM Issues Reports Near Salford, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Salford and nearby locations:

  • GeorgieBoy61 George Ferry Takeaway Services Bell #FBPE #NHSLove (@GeorgieBoy61) reported from Cheadle Hulme, England

@PJBuckingham They outplayed us at the KCOM so it was entirely predictable given our "Not-up-not-down" mindset!

  • paulxdesign Paul Burley (@paulxdesign) reported from Manchester, England

@ant_thedesigner That's a shame. It used to be the opposite problem: KCOM overpriced, the rest of the UK had caught up and the customers are left with no choice because of KCOM's monopoly as an ISP.

@bragginghull Is it time to get a sports psychologist in to address our dreadful home form (although I’ve never felt like the Kcom/MKM has ever felt like home). Last season I can take, but this season seems to be a burning issue.

  • t__and__p Tosh&Piffle (@t__and__p) reported

@thomasforth Hull's network was owned by the council. Due to an accident of history, it retained its local monopoly long after BT had to let others onto its network. As Oftel (sic) homed in, KCOM invested heavily in broadband technologies, to fend off BT and compete outside its area.

  • Andy_Ross1962 Andrew Ross (@Andy_Ross1962) reported

@Chamaerion @andreajenkyns Hull never had red phone boxes. They were never part of the Post Office or BT. They are owned by KCOM and are usually cream coloured.

  • blacklab115 Amber (@blacklab115) reported

kcom have got to sort their net out as we pay good money for crap internet!

  • JaneParshally Jane Marshall (@JaneParshally) reported

@HullDockster @Lisajay75868287 Makes no sense, unless you consider the police are working to a central agenda? This demo should have been cancelled on Health and safety grounds because of the major sporting event at the KCom today. March from Three Tuns down Anlaby Road - they're ***************.

  • blacklab115 Amber (@blacklab115) reported

@KarenJukes2 @andreajenkyns You find out. Educate yourself at the same time instead of proudly displaying your ignorance. They belong to KCOM a PLC and a company that has always run an independent telephone exchange and never part of the then GPO. They were originally cream.
