However, 1 loss in 11 and for a side who was in the relegation zone less than two months ago, that’s not bad going. Ofcom officially recognising it as a legitimate broadband solution under the 10 Mbps USO rules changes the game. No more forcing people in hard-to-reach areas to wait endlessly for BT or KCOM when Starlink is already delivering reliable connectivity. Fewer premises now qualify for subsidised connections because Starlink is stepping us, that’s real progress. Innovation actually solving problems instead of endless bureaucracy. Well done to the team pushing this forward. Who else sees Starlink transforming connectivity in underserved regions like this? 🇬🇧🚀💖🪄

Andy (@andyrobertshull) reported from City of Kingston upon Hull, England@KirstieMAllsopp We had this issue in Hull for a long time as historically we had Hull Telephones that eventually became KCOM. It's only in the last few years when the Government changed the law and we got hundreds of telephone poles from different companies that things have changed!

Kev (@kevbez1969) reported@leemelonopie @KCOMhome I know a few who've been on it and they all said the same thing. It's good at times but too inconsistent. Lots of major slow down at peak times. 3 of them have gone back to kcom the others are still stuck in a contract but moving back when they can.

There was damage to other services and the paths are worse now than they ever was and for what ? We had plenty of choice off the open reach network ...
