  @lucyk512 To get the data to your local mast, the mobile networks will use a line to the mast. In the rest of the country there's a choice of providers. In Hull there's KCom. So if it's a core problem with KCom, that probably explains the reason

  🚨🇬🇧 BREAKING: The UK’s communications regulator, Ofcom, has officially recognized Starlink as a suitable broadband option under the country’s 10 Mbps Universal Service Obligation (USO). According to UK broadband outlet ISPreview, homes with access to an affordable Starlink plan may no longer be eligible for a USO broadband connection through BT or KCOM. Reports indicate that some applicants have already had their USO requests denied because Starlink service was available at their address. Earlier this year, Ofcom also noted that the introduction of lower-cost Starlink plans helped reduce the number of UK properties without access to affordable, decent broadband to roughly 4,000.   @KarenJukes2 @andreajenkyns You find out. Educate yourself at the same time instead of proudly displaying your ignorance. They belong to KCOM a PLC and a company that has always run an independent telephone exchange and never part of the then GPO. They were originally cream.

  @KCOMhome Terrible service from KCOM, one of the most expensive providers in the Country and we are stuck with them in Hull. I bet we won't even be compensated for this mess, been off all day now and it's regularly dropping out.
