On both occasions, when the phone started ringing it was cut off. How does she get to talk to customer service this week?

They've confirmed the claim but appear to be deliberately dragging it out in order to slow down claims. Presumably Nationwide has asked them to.

Those with no transport unable to access face to face banking because of closure of their local branch as not enough people use it as their regular branch.
