  • MartynBracknell Martyn Herriott (@MartynBracknell) reported from Bracknell, England

@AskNationwide yesterday (Monday) and today (Tuesday) my partner held for 90 minutes to talk with somebody urgently about her ISA. On both occasions, when the phone started ringing it was cut off. How does she get to talk to customer service this week?

  • HannahMarsh3 Hannah Judd (@HannahMarsh3) reported from Farnborough, England

@AskNationwide trying to download my statements online, but it isn't working? Problem your end? Or mine? 🤔

  • NeilThompson Neil Thompson (@NeilThompson) reported from Reading, England

@AskNationwide Works on Safari. Perhaps you could get your developers to fix the errors so it works on Firefox too.

  • pmross Paul Mackenzie Ross 🇺🇦 (@pmross) reported from Aldershot, England

Hello @AskNationwide, the spare change saver on Flex Account is still broken. I save, the money shifts accounts, the amount and CTA are still there. Tends to be a weekend bug, been going on for weeks now.

I bank with @AskNationwide. I used to get email notifications from them. Recently, I got a letter saying that they'd had 'trouble reaching [me] by email'. I contacted their support to find out more... 1/7

  • cjamob colin James (@cjamob) reported

@AskNationwide Thanks Pauline, I've used the advice and made application to make international transfer. I did this last Saturday (over 7 days ago) and it's not left my account. I'm returning their own money transferred to me...if there was a problem with the transaction I would like to know 😔

  • MichelleS070 DeniseS070 (@MichelleS070) reported

@ryansteps @AskNationwide Good question! It's ridiculous 🤨. I have a Sainsbury's credit card and verify payments by text and have NEVER had a problem. It's not reasonable to expect customer to carry a plastic card reader everywhere they go!

  • leah_gow Leah Gow (@leah_gow) reported

@AskNationwide I got a new mobile phones yesterday and now I can't access the nationwide app without asking me to register or open an account so can't make any online purchases. Can't get anyone on the helpline either.

  • DeepinLakebirds 50 plus Angry Grumpy Old sod (@DeepinLakebirds) reported

@AskNationwide Obviously nationwide don't care about existing customers. I will be transferring my current account in the coming weeks! Pretty piss poor customer service really. I've been a customer since they took over the Anglia BS and were the Nationwide Anglia. Well your choice. Bye bye.

  • rnzz99 Rob Nicholson (@rnzz99) reported

@AskNationwide I’m really struggling to get online after starting an account transfer. App keeps kicking me off. Also got a text saying there may be an issue with current bank. Nothing in writing. I think I will cancel transfer but I can’t make contact with you!

  • BeardedBob7282 Bearded Old Codger (@BeardedBob7282) reported

@AskNationwide Well you certainly failed this morning. Of the two working counter positions, one was taken up by the same customer the entire time I was in the place, effectively meaning that only ONE position was actually dealing with the customers.

  • rnzz99 Rob Nicholson (@rnzz99) reported

@AskNationwide Can’t set up on line banking as it’s not recognising the codes I used during set up. I need to know what the issue is with the transfer. If it’s stopping the £200 incentive then I want to stop the set up.

  • silentfilmcal silentfilmcalendar (@silentfilmcal) reported

Hey @AskNationwide, you really have the worst customer service. Querying a simple account issue, via phone its endless automated responses and 'on hold', even worse when trying on-line. Anybody would think you had no regard for wasting customer's time or trying their patience....

  • proogs Peter Scandrett (@proogs) reported

@AskNationwide Well, I had an online chat the other day (alluded to in the thread) and then got the message quoted in this thread. I'm dubious about the explanation I've had. Is there a policy document anywhere that explains what email domains can and can't be used for customer comms, please?
