After the call I remembered I'd frozen that card a few weeks back. Unfreezing it fixed the problem. If it's possible to break things I will. Sorry!

They even do really great business banking. They just work. App only is the only potential issues, but my ND brain loves that. For a bricks and mortar bank I liked @AskNationwide

Is it not possible to contact customer services and go through any security over the phone (this is an existing payee that carried over during the switch)?

Luke Mitchell (@lmitchell1706) reported@AskNationwide are awful. Blocked my transaction twice for no reason. Trying to ring them and it took me 10 minutes to get through the crap IVR just to be put on hold. Could do with all the staff members they made redundant in the summer to service the queues.
