Been to town to pay a cheque into @AskNationwide but the machine couldn't process it. Yes I had it the correct way up. Although I did try it back to front and upside down too, just in case. So infuriating. Going to post it off now. More expense and inconvenience. Cheques. Pah!

@AskNationwide The mistake was only with the sort code, not with the account number. If it makes the issue a bit clearer.

@AskNationwide Any reason why I can't login to internet banking? Works fine on the app but I need to export statements and the website says I don't exist.

@AskNationwide I just checked with a friend. She has the same issue. You should not need my input to solve your major incident.

(Cont’d) so I shouldn’t have any problems. The lady I spoke to at @AskNationwide was brilliant & I feel confident that my money (not that I have much) is safe. @PostOffice don’t text you for unpaid fees, they put a card through the door. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

@AskNationwide I also tried to use the, "Find your customer number" thing. Put my card details in, date of birth etc and that also said it couldn't find my details.

@AskNationwide Babs, could you kindly issue a support ticket number or some sort of the reference for this chat?

@AskNationwide when are you going to update these awful card readers to something more modern like a mobile phone app for 2fa?

@EmmaJames_UK @AskNationwide Someone turned up and fixed the problem. They told my mum to complain about the plumber sent by @AskNationwide that came and went without doing anything 🙄

@AskNationwide My bank said that the payment got through and where is nothing they can do. The support team in your bank stated that this account to which the money where sent does not exist. I am at loss here really as I don’t know where to go.

@AskNationwide Hi team. I am checking my accounts via your mobile app. My savings are there but my mortgage accounts are missing. As sweet as that would be, I guess it's a glitch at your end?
