Underlying issue is high gas costs and high proportion of gas used to power the grid at the moment, combined with low wind. Had a year or two of good prices due to low demand.

A little more transparency might go some way to easing feelings. Your employees have always been helpful and understanding, in my experience. Transparency might help employees too.
