Underlying issue is high gas costs and high proportion of gas used to power the grid at the moment, combined with low wind. Had a year or two of good prices due to low demand.

Part of the reason I hardly use it and now primarily use another which has a nice cashback rate.

Mind Crypto ๐ฅ (@MindCrypto_) reported@BeardyInvestor @AskNationwide This is ultimately an FCA overreach (Nationwide was fined ยฃ44M in Dec,25) which in-turn means; it's about protecting the bank's money from having to refund yours later. Over regulation and lack of autonomy for the customer. Annoying!

It's basically bomalia. @AskNationwide have their head office there, they're both importing indians to work in Swindon, and therefore help with Swindon's enshittification AND outsourcing call centre jobs to india.
