@AskNationwide Can u please give us awaiting wages etc a relevant update? "Working on it" isnt really an acceptable answer for ur customers at this time of year. People are very worried. Specific updates is the bare minimum u should be providing! #Nationwide #Chaos

@AskNationwide will this payment issue affect any direct debits that are due to come off or just payment transfers in and out of account?

@AskNationwide I cannot access funds from my Instant access savings account. Says technical issue and says systems are working normally at the same time. Which is it? I’ve never tried to move funds before, so this is stressful

@AskNationwide why do your phone lines take you through all the options, make you go through various security questions only to say at the end that lines are closed at weekends, why not state this at the start of the process rather than wasting time for the customer?

One of the many drawbacks to digital everything: multiple layers of security. PINs, passwords, passkeys, codes, card readers... I love @AskNationwide. For some odd reason, since having my long time bank close and moving to them, I've been in credit. Same spending patterns as the other one and roughly the same income. Not complaining. Their card reader however is a PITA so I welcomed the app message saying it wouldn't (always) be needed. So I go through the app process to not (always) use it and ...it wants a PHOTO. I have no makeup on, Good Queen Bess eyebrows, my hair is pinned up, the contents of a townhouse could fit in the bags under my eyes...but I bravely allowed it to scan my face. And again. And again. Nada, nothing, try again. NO, bggrff. I'll stick with the card reader, thank you very much. And that's the thing. I can actually remember all gazillion details for the many accounts - except ever changing passwords because they suddenly stop working and you have to go through the process of setting up another one and unlocking your account - plink plonking with too long nails on titchy keyboards and unhelpful ageing eyesight - trying to complete the task before it times you out. Yep - fun and games for the digital world for everything bar breathing and sleeping. And that's not a given! Meanwhile, just noticed I was also in the process of moving the downstairs heavy furniture (again). Back to the fray.

@AskNationwide so after 10 years with you it's time to move on as I'm obviously not a valued customer, I'm not eligible for the fair share scheme, discrimanated as I don't have a saving account or mortgage (not home owner) but do have money in flex,

@AskNationwide I decided to consulate by transferring the funds in to a limited access account which we use for the same purpose. That got me thinking though, is that actually allowed? It let me do it, so I guess so?

@AskNationwide Why does your f**king app break down all the time? Today’s Nationwide utter nonsense is your complete inability to verify web transactions! You really are hopeless.
