@AskNationwide @in_mules The issue clearly has not been resolved, my husband just transferred his wages from his business account (different bank) and they haven't appeared in our nationwide account. This is usually instantaneous. The money has left his business account so where is it?

@AskNationwide hi there. I have tried numerous times to get through to your customer service team to change a direct debit. After being on hold today again for 20 minutes, I have yet again been cut off. Can I change the date on the mobile app?

@JLP_officialxxx @M95754861557 @AskNationwide Easy to add and withdraw through bank transfer. Your bank will not like to use them, they want to steal the interest on your money, charge you, and write threatening letters to you, they call it a good service
-
Nope
(@No_name_on_twit) reported
@AskNationwide This is just not true. We called the branch and were told that if she goes there they can only set up a call with the number you gave They cannot help with mortgages direct.
-
Nope
(@No_name_on_twit) reported
@AskNationwide Would not recommend using the Nationwide direct for a mortgage. Problems caused by their own IT system have held up the application which are having a knock-on effect with the process. No real help from the helpline. Rubbish

Bit of unexpect cash today - £62 to be precise from @AskNationwide 15 years ago the Mister opened a cashbook account at Nationwide in Edinburgh to deposit some cash when his dad died on behalf of his nephew who was out of country but left it by his Grandad. It was in there for a couple of years Eventually he returned to Scotland and the Mister gave him the cash his dad (nephews grandad) wanted to leave him - the account was then at 0 Today ..... text from Nationwide to his number saying they had post returned to them and needed to speak to him about his account - he doesn't even have the passbook Couldn't use the automated service was we had no account number to hand and it kept cutting him off and saying it couldn't help without one. Decided to ring using my credentials as I have a current and savings account with them. I went through security and then explained about his text and asked if it was genuine and put him on the phone He gave his old address in Newcastle ..... nope .... EH6 they said ..... it was that far back and he gave them his old address in Leith. Bingo Turns out that the 0 became about a tenner in an interest payment the following year and it's earned interest ever since and it's now at £62 and a few pennies The letter was to say that his passbook account was now a sort code and account number, like a current account and was returned in the post. We've got the details and tomorrow he can log in and claim that little bit of cash Thanks Nationwide
