@AskNationwide Ok. My bad. Full marks to the very patient person on the phone however we didn't fix it. After the call I remembered I'd frozen that card a few weeks back. Unfreezing it fixed the problem. If it's possible to break things I will. Sorry!

@AskNationwide what will happen to late fees that we will face due to this error? If people are relaying on this payment to get in things for the kids for Christmas? Will nationwide wide compensate it's customers with Christmas and covid it's not the best time for this to happen

@AskNationwide Same sh*t different month? I'm getting paid early, oh wait I'm not because payments are being delayed again, at payday, at peak, at Christmas 2nd month in a row. Why does Nationwide not honour its Service Commitment?

@AskNationwide spent 20 mins in shop unaware there was an issue today. The shop cancelled the payment but it is now showing as pending in my account. Will you be able to sort this out please? Also why do you nit make shops etc aware that there is a problem.

@AskNationwide I have logged a complaint already, but that doesn’t help me now. The payments are not in a queue this is a lie as you can’t see any payments on your system please be honest at least.

@AskNationwide I understand what’s going on the issue is I have bills to pay and and apologising isn’t getting anything paid….. imagine the charges I would receive if I could pay the bank what is owed on time !!

@AskNationwide Absolutely lies from Nationwide. Your faster payment system must have failed today because of your inept systems or because someone phoned in sick and you haven’t got the business continuity plan to deal with a payments issue.
