@AskNationwide Why is it that I need to show photo ID when in a branch to re-issue a card... but I could ring cusromer services whilst in the same branch and not need it? surly the security questions being good enough on call are good enough for in branch too?

@AskNationwide no, was on the app trying to switch my mortgage. Went down just as I pressed Go and won't let me back in. Don't know whether it was switched or whether I was shut out because of imminent interest rate rises and you didn't want to stand by your offer of the moment. 2.5 houra

@AskNationwide Hi, thanks for this. I have already re-enabled the alerts. You should probably send a second text to notify that low-balance alerts have also been disabled. This is a more critical issue than your app being a bit rubbish and your website having problems.

@AskNationwide I have been logged in before but have since logged out and I'm now trying to get back in. I have the current account and everything I'm trying to log in with it's just saying technical problems.

@AskNationwide Really unimpressed that you just opted me out of text alerts without asking, and now the app says "experiencing a technical problem" when I try to set up the text alerts again. Why does NW. think I set up the text alerts? For funsies? Because I *want* them.

@AskNationwide You did not leave them with those who want them, you unilaterally decided and a ted. Common courtesy would be the standard process of sending a warning that you intend to pull the plug, unless the customer reacts and says to keep it. Not shoot first and then make me repair it.

@AskNationwide sorry yes my point is that it was the live chat staffer who couldn't help. Anyway, never mind. I found the Feedback page to send the message I was originally trying to send.

@AskNationwide Thanks but doesn't explain why the text said just high balance & mini statement alerts were being disabled, which I don't have a problem, & yet I had been opted out of the low balance ones too which were working. How many customers will this have affected & won't realise/check??

@AskNationwide As someone who is disabled and unable to work, however in receipt of a guaranteed for life monthly payment from the Scottish Infected Blood Support Scheme, would you accept these payments for a mortgage?
