Not having the best of luck with NatWest this week. Just sat down to write a cheque, only to realise they’ve spelled my name with three As in my new chequebook. I’ve always thought the legitimate two was excessive!

Going around in circles, neither @NatWest_Help nor @pandocruises are helping! Natwest have said P&O can't take the money and it bounces back and P&O say they don't have an issue with the payments system. 🙈 Do you want the money or not???

@GreenBadge4 I have a business account with Mettle (part of natwest) and they offer free access to FreeAgent which is authorised software for MTD. Mettle has no minimum balance limit, unlimited transactions per month and can pay in upto £500 cash per day via post office with no charge.

@ZetecZombie @NatWest Pissed with it, mate. Signed up for new wifi sim, is cheap, and works for this place for now. They **** it up, and send it to old address, and when I ask for a replacement, she sends out a free sim, not the **** I'm paying for, cos she can't understand me. Hi, I'm Jane, my arse.

@MartinSLewis That's an interesting result and imagine differs for those in cities. I'm a very happy #Nationwide customer, and like that they approach everyone if there's a queue and offer to help. The local Santander, Lloyds, Barclays & Natwest branches have all closed.

Buddy, what memories you bring. I remember many such spells. Infact, the spell from Waqar Younis during the Natwest series (Aus -Eng-Pak), he was almost un-playable. 7Ws against Eng followed by 6Ws against Aus. “Nick Knight could do nothing about that. He has a cursory look at the pitch, the bowled has bounced, taken the shoulder of the bat……. Nick Knight walks lonely back to the dressing room. Eng are three down”. @Mofoman360 Only a few major privatised companies (NatWest, BA, BT) are genuinely profitable without state support. Most others are either heavily debt-leveraged (e.g. water), rely on subsidies (e.g. rail), or suffer fragile market conditions (e.g. energy).
