Holly O (@ohhollygosh) reported from Biggleswade, England@RedLetterDaysUK Hi, I just exchanged some Natwest rewards into vouchers and purchased an experience using some of the vouchers. I have £120 worth of vouchers & have redeemed one experience to the value of £75. However the website is saying I’ve redeemed them all?

dobbsie (@paulcdobbs) reported@robprogressive A couple of years ago I went to buy some BTC from Coinbase as I had done many times. Natwest declined my card several times so I called the bank and was told there was no problem and to wait and try again. This continued for 24hrs so I called them back and eventually they put me through to another office - after several conversations someone came on and send actually Natwest have blocked any purchases on crypto exchanges due to the risk of fraud - I went nuts, if this is bank policy then why did items so many calls to get this response - I can check a box confirming that I accept the fraud risk and send my life savings to a Nigerian Prince but cannot invest with a US stock listed company which I had done many times previously - the UK banking industry is absolutely terrified of BTC - they recently allowed some investment in BTC ETF's (not quite ETFs but similar) in reality it's virtually impossible to access these. If they do this with gold then that's another thing altogether - I live and work in Asia now and gold is a key pillar of investment as they never trust the government and banks as burnt so any times in the past

Dr HOX ENDUCTION HOUR 🌻🎩🧐 (@hoxtonwanka) reported@K_Niemietz there's a lot of space between the skyscrapers so they get to speak for themselves. the problem in the city at the moment is that they've all been clustered together. it used to look way more impressive when you just had the Gherkin, Natwest buildiing and LSE building

Apurv Nagpal (@apurvnagpal) reported@NatWest_Help Hello NatWest For the Nth time - If you see what you think are fraudulent transactions on a customer's credit card - at best put a temp block, which the customer can solve via the app or via SMS / Whatsapp This is crucial, esp when the customer is abroad or busy with their life and doesn't want to spend 20 minutes on a call with customer service Why do you insist on this outdated 'call us' philosophy - without care to what your consumer is doing or wants ? How can you even just block, based on an algorithm, without providing a digital confirmation option (Email / phone / app) ? This is literally the tenth or fifteenth time this has happened in the last few years. Please can you fix this ?

FCPUI 🇮🇳 (@Rnb129) reportedThe NatWest Final? The next Sunday Reader of The Hindu actually had an article mocking it "while we were sleeping, did India actually win the WC?" And went on to complain that India conceded 325 so they were a **** team anyway! Celebration? What for? That's an Aussie birthright

Sam Hosier (@AutoInfatuation) reportedAs of 1st June I am going back to being solely self employed and will need a new business account as a Sole Trader. Given up with having a physical branch to go to as we literally only have a HSBC and a NatWest left in my town now 🙃 Have had both a Monzo and Lloyds LTD Company Business accounts before and have a Monzo personal account I quite like. I keep being told Revolut Business is really good now they have their banking license? Most of my payments will be made via BACs either way, only need access for myself and also needs to be able to link up to Xero. What Bank does everyone suggest to go with or even avoid?

Steve Small (@elrick56) reported@ukboomers 1983 and my long standing bank manager turned down my loan application. Went to house builder and put a £100 deposit on a 2 bed semi then he called NatWest and I got accepted that day. Six weeks later got the keys. Easy peasy
-
Trousers (@trousersoflife) reported@thejamieseymour @CallumLyon They will. This is the problem. At any point in life you can just say ‘it’s all ****’ Yes ‘a lot of mortgage lenders won’t consider overtime’ but you only need ONE mortgage company to accept your application. NatWest accept overtime as income

Pulp Librarian (@PulpLibrarian) reportedSmiley Culture: NatWest On Line (1986). This is one of two adverts reggae star Smiley Culture did for the bank, promoting their On Line bank accounts aimed at teenagers. UK banks leaned heavily into the teenage market in the 1980s, on the assumption that customers rarely changed bank accounts. If you got the customer young they would stay with you for life, so why not give them a cash card and a free sports bag when they were 14?

Boboye (@Boboye__x) reported@Dontigga @funkomi If you earn £140k a year net income I’m pretty sure taking out a mortgage from Lloyds or NatWest to buy a home won’t be so difficult after two good years of working
