@O2 Thanks for getting back to me they knew my full name, and that I was the account holder that’s as far as they got before I put the phone down. I didn’t give any details at all. Can these people access my account? It is worrying

  • matt_saunders_
Matt (@matt_saunders_) reported from Marazion, England

@cymraesydwi @tescomobile @O2 Never known it to be this bad for anyone. May want to escalate to the CEO or something? I mean it’s far beyond customer service now, this has become a safeguarding issue because you can’t just put your life on hold. Maybe grab a cheap pay as you go sim in the meantime?

  • matt_saunders_
Matt (@matt_saunders_) reported from Marazion, England

@cymraesydwi @tescomobile @O2 Tbh ate bloody terrible. Definitely a goodwill payment due whenever they get it resolved…! I mean leaving a woman stranded with no mobile phone is downright dangerous.

O2 since when do your help desks cold call your clients about their accounts? I refuse to deal with anything when I’m contacted directly? 0330 303 5296 number has called me 4 times In 2 days #mobilephone @O2

@cymraesydwi @tescomobile @O2 I can imagine. Deeply uncool of tesco to not recognize this as an issue.

  • BrownieLB_1
Lisa Brown (@BrownieLB_1) reported from St. Ives, England

    @bleddyn123 @O2 I’m paying £100.00 for the phone/contract a month 😳 can’t be any worse I’m looking at new service providers tomorrow

  • PaddyBriggs
    Paddy Briggs 🇪🇺 🇵🇸 🏳️‍🌈🇬🇱 🇪🇸 (@PaddyBriggs) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 Or could it be that privatisation, big dividends to shareholders, huge remuneration for top executives isn’t the best way to run a public service ?

  • LewisOrmston
    Lewis Ormston (@LewisOrmston) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 Completely agree. It's been the same in Manchester City Centre for years. I wrote to my local MP, who raised it with the government - they've fitted signal boosters that have helped slightly, but no one should face this in a major city in 2026. Needs looking at nationally.

  • Nigeblueboi
    Nigel. Red. 🚴. Tories/Reform = Dreck (@Nigeblueboi) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE No wonder you're out with the washing posting crap like this. Your mobiles don't work or you can't operate them more like, so any resources allotted to cycling infra and pedestrian safety can gtf.

  • Beardmore8Mark
    Mark Beardmore (@Beardmore8Mark) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Very easy solution - make the companies offer roaming to their customers when their service is poor- no infrastructure required, just a flick of a switch! Gives UK customers the same service as uk visitors much in the same way when we go overseas #roaming4all

  • DevonGuy1997
    Devon Guy 97 (@DevonGuy1997) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 It’s the same with Sky. Have so much trouble activating bus and train tickets even when I apparently have full signal. You have to negotiate with the staff and bus drivers all the time.

  • SoSoaksy
    Amelia Eberhardt-Armstrong (@SoSoaksy) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 They are reducing signal strength to save electricity costs. They even boast about how they reduce energy consumption by switching equipment off/running in lower power. Esp in non peak periods such as overnight. Doesn’t seem to be subject to regulatory measures

  • DrNickAlpha
Nicko | Longevity Investing (@DrNickAlpha) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 I remember when I was on O2 I had no signal in the middle of Waterloo station.

  • RobbieTwts
    The Blasted Cat (@RobbieTwts) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE We increasingly have 650 elected officials in Westminster more interested in chasing personal glory on matters overseas than attempting to resolve domestic issues
