@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Yes there is a massive problem with phone signal however it didn’t start in July 2024. What were you all upto? Were you busy virtue signalling?

  • SarahLudford
    Sarah Ludford 🇬🇧 🇮🇪🇪🇺 🇺🇦 (@SarahLudford) reported

It’s not just ‘recently’ @O2. @TomTugendhat is absolutely right that your mobile coverage in London is consistently poor. I have found it better in rural Spain than in ‘London, Global City’. Perhaps @MayorofLondon could direct his £7m PR spend to mobile infrastructure instead?

  • DJBSBC
    GBD (@DJBSBC) reported

@O2 @TomTugendhat O2 your signal and data in particular is farcical. It’s one industry that has taken the biggest step back in terms of advancements and relies on people using WiFi more often and just ‘accepting’ that the service is ****.

  • katharinebarto6
    Katharinebarton (@katharinebarto6) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE I agree. And you are right, it has got worse. Let alone those black spots being addressed. What is going on? Also offices in the City of London with no signal!!

  • Bloatee1
    Bloatee (@Bloatee1) reported

    @TomTugendhat @O2 @EE I don’t see the problem.

  • des_mansfield
    Desmond Mansfield (@des_mansfield) reported

@worstall @O2 @vodafone Oligopolies can still be bad.

  • Beardmore8Mark
    Mark Beardmore (@Beardmore8Mark) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Very easy solution - make the companies offer roaming to their customers when their service is poor- no infrastructure required, just a flick of a switch! Gives UK customers the same service as uk visitors much in the same way when we go overseas #roaming4all

  • N104AP
    Ellie Winters (@N104AP) reported

@Marooned_Sailor @O2 @Ofcom the issue with mmwave is whilst the bands were recently auctioned, theres another thing stopping the mmwave rollout which doesnt even have anything to do with the carriers, device manufacturers keep making it US exclusive, with international models not having it, so then the carriers dont build the infrastructure, so then the companies dont ship mmwave hardware, and it just goes in circles i dont think we'll ever have mmwave in this country at this rate

    🅓🅜🅨🅡🅒🅡 (@dmyrcr) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Your lot had 14 years. Maybe you should’ve campaigned about this then to your pals in government. Instead you did **** all

  • silestanix

@lebara have to say, for a PAYG network you guys have been absolutely brilliant. @O2 have failed me here in the USA since my arrival last Monday but this humble lil PAYG sim has been brilliant since a few days ago.
