Ian Macdonald 🇪🇺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🕷 (@ghiribizzo) reported from Glenrothes, Scotland

@O2 I doubt if your service could be worse. 14 days without data, stores closed, no email support or live chat, calls to 202 all fail - over 20+.

  • BogieOnPatrol
𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗕𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@BogieOnPatrol) reported from Auchterderran, Scotland

SCAM ALERT: Mobile number +447547993398 pretending to be @O2 Text message reads: Your 02 service may be terminated if we are not able to verify your details, please update your details via "myauth-o2 com" (minus dot) Haven't clicked link but know o2 sites are ".co.uk" not ".com"

  • staceyAgraham
Stacey A Graham (@staceyAgraham) reported from Lochgelly, Scotland

@O2 looking for help with a new sim

  • IanDavitt
Ian Gordon Davitt (@IanDavitt) reported from Kirkcaldy, Scotland

@O2 Customer for seventeen years, mis-sold a device I didn’t need and exorbitantly charged for it without my knowledge. O2 are despicable, when my contract ends, I’m going to a company that rewards loyalty, not take advantage of it.

  • wayne_0405
Wayne Spence (@wayne_0405) reported from Kirkcaldy, Scotland

@O2 The black model. As long existing customer, +12 years, can you provide me a nice case for it 😉

  • ghiribizzo
Ian Macdonald 🇪🇺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🕷 (@ghiribizzo) reported from Freuchie, Scotland

@O2 Day 4, O2. Still no 4G on phone. Email support is cancelled (you say) and live chat is never available in the app. As a key worker I’m still at work and can’t phone you to be put on hold for 45 mins or longer.

  • ghiribizzo
Ian Macdonald 🇪🇺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🕷 (@ghiribizzo) reported from Freuchie, Scotland

@O2 That guide is useless. Somewhere, mine and hundreds of others’ use of 4G has been stopped. It is not a phone issue nor is it a network signal issue. If it continues much longer I’ll be going to another network as I cannot use the phone apart from on WiFi.

@O2 Thank you but I’ve pretty much done all of this. The network needs serious investment to manage the amount of people connected, and to ensure data is reliable and stable.

  • jennslcfc94
    MS (@jennslcfc94) reported

@O2 you are absolute the worst company. My o2 account does not work. I can’t see anything. Everything just says no information available. I have no data and I can’t see why or even attempt to top up! What’s the point in PAYG if my account doesn’t work!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • silestanix
    Mr H (@silestanix) reported

@O2 I've got a formal complaint pending at the moment so I doubt online team could push it any further but appreciate you guys wanting to look into this, will DM you the complaint reference number. And yes, PAC code would be good too, will send my number in that same dm.

  • Walsh44Ryan
    Ryan Walsh (@Walsh44Ryan) reported

@O2 Ive been a victim of fraud that taken you 8 months to fix. Ive tried to cancel my contract multiple times to which im told im atill in a contract (this was signed by fraudster!). You have blocked my account. Ive tried to ring multiple times to no avail as I am abroad

  • wozwebs
    wozwebs (@wozwebs) reported

@Jonny_Ham @O2 I was the same. With them since Cellnet but I gave up 3 years ago as it was getting worse and worse. Went with EE and never looked back, miles better

  • choodrrez9
    frenchie (@choodrrez9) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 YOU DON'T PAY THE ******* BILL ANYWAY, IT IS ON YOUR EXPENSES LIST PAYED FOR BY TAX PAYERS.. **** OFF WINGING YOU ****

  • puncharama
    Christopher (NOT Chris) (@puncharama) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @vodafone Try speaking to the regulator about it then you can really see why uk services are so poor

  • SoSoaksy
    Amelia Eberhardt-Armstrong (@SoSoaksy) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 They are reducing signal strength to save electricity costs. They even boast about how they reduce energy consumption by switching equipment off/running in lower power. Esp in non peak periods such as overnight. Doesn’t seem to be subject to regulatory measures

  • Wigapedia
    Colm Nugent (@Wigapedia) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE At what point in time did mobile phone company investment get diverted to upgrade bike lanes? This is like complaining about the vegetable selection in Tesco being terrible, while care homes are underfunded. Tom apparently doesn't understand how a modern economy works.

  • Marooned_Sailor
    Ian Judd (@Marooned_Sailor) reported

@O2 Did some research and as suspected you never actually rolled mmwave out…. Feels like some false advertising @Ofcom what are you doing? Where are all the speeds promised 6 years ago… yet again a weak uk regulator in the pockets of those its supposed to be holding to account
