Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Hellesdon and nearby locations:
-
Miss Emily Anarchy (@MsEmilyAnarchy) reported from Norwich, England@O2 Seems to. I was travelling on a train, using 3g as their wifi was broken. Between Ipswich and Diss (apx 1850 to 1920) no adult sites would load - stopped at IP lookup phase - but all others would. Clearing cache didn’t help but rebooting the phone did. Odd little glitch.
-
Daniel Rayner (@raybagslfc) reported from Spixworth, England@O2 hi, wondering if you can help. Just got a new work mobile and nano SIM. Tried to initiate simswap but my old work mobile with larger micro sim won't boot up (hence the new phone)
-
Chris Greenfield (@chris_greenf) reported from Wymondham, England@EE Nah, Orange was better than T Mobile, but when you merged, the quality and signal went to ****. @O2 is miles better, and so far haven’t hit anyone with roaming charges either!

Matthew Caputo (@MatthewCaputo_) reported from Norwich, England@O2 I have already been through this process. I spoke to someone from customer service and explained my circumstances. Dan Church (@dan_v_fat) reported from Norwich, England@O2 7 months after cancelling a contract (where I was told it would be free of charge due to the poor service received) and I’m still receiving negative marks on my credit score with missed payments and letters from debt collectors for the amount which shouldn’t be there 1/2

-
𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 (@LancePaters1) reported from Brundall, England@O2 Considering leaving as very broken online upgrade/user tracking system causes same deal to cost *more* per month if you add an upfront payment for new device (£39 and change for 24 months without £50 upfront,£41 for exact same deal with £50 upfront). Also repeatedly crashes.
-
Matthew Caputo (@MatthewCaputo_) reported from Norwich, England@Nickstuart07 @O2 Having a similar problem too! Worked in Southampton for a month with no 4G service due to a mast being down. Had to sit in coffee shops and pay for coffees to use WiFi. Problem still not fixed and no mention of compensation! #timeforchange #poorservice #o2

O2 Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Sarah H (@SarahWM45) reported@O2 absolute joke. Stringing me along, promising to call. Two weeks later. No call. Apparently that’s my fault, they were waiting on me. (They’re not). They are unable to answer a simple question. Customer service v stressful to deal with. @MartinSLewis
-
Mitch Hirsty (@mitchhirsty) reported@JaadeSketch @O2 Jade, they are fully aware of the issue with their website and app when trying to pay a bill, but they are not doing anything about it! O2 - how many more people will it take to complain about the broken payment gateway before you actually fix the issue?
-
Glenn Matthew (@gmkfyi) reported@virginmedia @O2 I can only assume the reason I’m getting an IDF-12B error is because I’m now using a Sky connection rather than a Virgin one. Same computer, no VPN… Trying to get into my O2 account btw… which support line do I contact?
-
Billion Dollar Brain #MDANT (@harryhpalmer) reportedWow. The quality of signal and performance from @lebara since switching from @O2 which has been shite for a long time. 5G all the way on my tube journey, unlike o2. And Lebara is so much cheaper.
-
Sparky (@Sparkyisared) reported@SteveJoyce14 @O2 @TheGillsFC I live not far from the ground and the signal has been very bad over the last two days for some reason. So could be an area issue. The problem people keep moaning about the masts and stop them being installed so will never improve.
-
Ryan Davies (@ripinmypants) reported@O2 I have inboxed you guys regarding my complaint can you please respond
-
Rebecca C 💙💙💙 (@artdeco_fan) reportedYour complaint system is not fit for purpose! Your online complaint form does not work, it just gives a generic error message (this is not new, it's been the case for at least 2 months) and the complaint email address just bounces back. #disgusting @O2
-
Ben (@bennycliffe) reportedI can’t even get a signal with @O2 when actually being in @TheO2 😭😭 ever mind posting a video! 😭🫠
-
Melisa Bishop (@FiferTHF) reported@BelfastGiants @O2 Awful! The teams name and logo should always be more prominent than a sponsors logo.
-
Jade North (@JadeNorth) reportedThanks for the update of not having signal for two days @O2 ….. been waiting for a phone call for two days and now been informed they tried to contact me. I’ve had ZERO signal for the past 24 hours and counting and no one told me. £70 a month for a load of ****
