Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Hellesdon and nearby locations:

  • Killi87 Liam Killington (@Killi87) reported from Scottow, England

    @SarahERyder @O2 Unfortunately @O2 signal isn’t great at mine....

  • LancePaters1 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 (@LancePaters1) reported from Brundall, England

@O2 Considering leaving as very broken online upgrade/user tracking system causes same deal to cost *more* per month if you add an upfront payment for new device (£39 and change for 24 months without £50 upfront,£41 for exact same deal with £50 upfront). Also repeatedly crashes.

  • LouSmi2 Louise Smith (@LouSmi2) reported from Taverham, England

So I switch mobile across to @O2 and lo an behold I’m in the same situation... going round a call centre day after day with no one understanding the problem or able to fix! Shall I just give up on keeping the number I’ve had for the last 10 years?!? #poorcustomerservice #help

  • MatthewCaputo_ Matthew Caputo (@MatthewCaputo_) reported from Norwich, England

@O2 I have already been through this process. I spoke to someone from customer service and explained my circumstances. I’ve received nothing helpful in return and unfortunately your service was inoperable for the month in which I had to work in Southampton.

  • MatthewCaputo_ Matthew Caputo (@MatthewCaputo_) reported from Norwich, England

@Nickstuart07 @O2 Having a similar problem too! Worked in Southampton for a month with no 4G service due to a mast being down. Had to sit in coffee shops and pay for coffees to use WiFi. Problem still not fixed and no mention of compensation! #timeforchange #poorservice #o2

  • MsEmilyAnarchy Miss Emily Anarchy (@MsEmilyAnarchy) reported from Norwich, England

@O2 Seems to. I was travelling on a train, using 3g as their wifi was broken. Between Ipswich and Diss (apx 1850 to 1920) no adult sites would load - stopped at IP lookup phase - but all others would. Clearing cache didn’t help but rebooting the phone did. Odd little glitch.

  • raybagslfc Daniel Rayner (@raybagslfc) reported from Spixworth, England

@O2 hi, wondering if you can help. Just got a new work mobile and nano SIM. Tried to initiate simswap but my old work mobile with larger micro sim won't boot up (hence the new phone)

O2 Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • MattNewman94 Matt (@MattNewman94) reported

@O2 Done that a good 15+ times on different occasions, never stops them. It’s frustrating reporting something over and over and no results seen months later.

  • mjb8028 Mark Bush (@mjb8028) reported

@O2 bought a new Apple Watch the other day online and have noticed over the last couple days when it’s been on charge it never gets past 72-75% charge?? Have had them before and they can go from near empty to full in a couple hours

  • pickled_tinker Ian Grody (@pickled_tinker) reported

@Ofcom Yes, @O2 - take note. Having gone through every possible option on their customer services, you have to go to Lost/Stolen to actually speak to someone. Every other option hangs up on you.

  • h_123321x Me (@h_123321x) reported

@O2 I’ve dm’d about your attempt to charge me £211.77 for a contract that has ended. Your customer services told me I would not be charged. Now I’m being harassed with emails saying the payment is overdue. Fix it! I want a call today because this is damaging my credit score.

  • WhoStu Stuart Lauchlan (@WhoStu) reported

@O2 - just a pointer. "I wouldn't know" is not an acceptable customer service response, no matter how many times the agent says it. Especially when uv screwed up my service for the second time in 7 days, say u have no record of the last time and are now trying to blame the bank!

  • Minette_78 Rachel McConnell (@Minette_78) reported

@O2 I can't see anything on there to help. I'm just going round in endless loops resetting my password then getting kicked out of my account area.

  • SpannaD 💙🐝👑Spanna Monkey 🔧🐵🙊🏴‍☠️ (@SpannaD) reported

@O2 Please help as my SIM card has been deactivated and I keep going round in circles to find a number to contact you on… it’s a pay as you go Thank you x

  • MattNewman94 Matt (@MattNewman94) reported

@O2 Done that like with over a half a dozen texts, never seems to stop. New numbers every time 🙃

  • AJFarrelly_ 𝙰𝙹 𝙵𝚊𝚛𝚛𝚎𝚕𝚕𝚢 — 𝙰𝚞𝚝𝚑𝚘𝚛 (@AJFarrelly_) reported

@O2 why will you not accept ANY of my payment cards for my PAYG sim? I'm down to my last £2, I have tried the app, online, on the phone but no joy. And I can't get through to a human being. Maybe I should just take my custom elsewhere!

  • sjg_001 Sarra (@sjg_001) reported

@O2 are your DPD drivers meant to be taking photo ID upon delivery ?? (Worst company to use as they’re notorious for delivering damaged phones )
