@Nickstuart07 @O2 Having a similar problem too! Worked in Southampton for a month with no 4G service due to a mast being down. Had to sit in coffee shops and pay for coffees to use WiFi. Problem still not fixed and no mention of compensation! #timeforchange #poorservice #o2

@EE Nah, Orange was better than T Mobile, but when you merged, the quality and signal went to ****. @O2 is miles better, and so far haven’t hit anyone with roaming charges either!

@O2 Seems to. I was travelling on a train, using 3g as their wifi was broken. Between Ipswich and Diss (apx 1850 to 1920) no adult sites would load - stopped at IP lookup phase - but all others would. Clearing cache didn’t help but rebooting the phone did. Odd little glitch.

So I switch mobile across to @O2 and lo an behold I’m in the same situation... going round a call centre day after day with no one understanding the problem or able to fix! Shall I just give up on keeping the number I’ve had for the last 10 years?!? #poorcustomerservice #help

@O2 Considering leaving as very broken online upgrade/user tracking system causes same deal to cost *more* per month if you add an upfront payment for new device (£39 and change for 24 months without £50 upfront,£41 for exact same deal with £50 upfront). Also repeatedly crashes.

@O2 I have already been through this process. I spoke to someone from customer service and explained my circumstances. I’ve received nothing helpful in return and unfortunately your service was inoperable for the month in which I had to work in Southampton.

10 Minute Amiga Retro Cast
(@10MARC1) reported
@RetroBoxRoom @IL0VEthe80s @O2 I ran into that a decade ago with the initial 4G launch. Sprint used this 4G "WiMax" garbage that was never available in Tucson, yet insisted on charging me an extra $10 a month just because my phone supported it. I dropped them like a hot potato soon after.

@O2 Are there issues with mobile data in Belfast? Mobile data is either slow or non-responsive. I thought I had ran out of data at first. Checked o2 service status for postcodes BT1 5GS, BT11 9JQ, BT17 0FB and get "Sorry, a phone mast close to you isn't working."
