Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Hellesdon and nearby locations:

  • MatthewCaputo_ Matthew Caputo (@MatthewCaputo_) reported from Norwich, England

@O2 I have already been through this process. I spoke to someone from customer service and explained my circumstances. I’ve received nothing helpful in return and unfortunately your service was inoperable for the month in which I had to work in Southampton.

  • raybagslfc Daniel Rayner (@raybagslfc) reported from Spixworth, England

@O2 hi, wondering if you can help. Just got a new work mobile and nano SIM. Tried to initiate simswap but my old work mobile with larger micro sim won't boot up (hence the new phone)

  • Killi87 Liam Killington (@Killi87) reported from Scottow, England

    @SarahERyder @O2 Unfortunately @O2 signal isn’t great at mine....

  • MatthewCaputo_ Matthew Caputo (@MatthewCaputo_) reported from Norwich, England

@Nickstuart07 @O2 Having a similar problem too! Worked in Southampton for a month with no 4G service due to a mast being down. Had to sit in coffee shops and pay for coffees to use WiFi. Problem still not fixed and no mention of compensation! #timeforchange #poorservice #o2

  • LancePaters1 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 (@LancePaters1) reported from Brundall, England

@O2 Considering leaving as very broken online upgrade/user tracking system causes same deal to cost *more* per month if you add an upfront payment for new device (£39 and change for 24 months without £50 upfront,£41 for exact same deal with £50 upfront). Also repeatedly crashes.

  • LouSmi2 Louise Smith (@LouSmi2) reported from Taverham, England

So I switch mobile across to @O2 and lo an behold I’m in the same situation... going round a call centre day after day with no one understanding the problem or able to fix! Shall I just give up on keeping the number I’ve had for the last 10 years?!? #poorcustomerservice #help

  • MsEmilyAnarchy Miss Emily Anarchy (@MsEmilyAnarchy) reported from Norwich, England

@O2 Seems to. I was travelling on a train, using 3g as their wifi was broken. Between Ipswich and Diss (apx 1850 to 1920) no adult sites would load - stopped at IP lookup phase - but all others would. Clearing cache didn’t help but rebooting the phone did. Odd little glitch.

  • Colossusreturn5 ScouseColossusReturns (@Colossusreturn5) reported

@thespencerlynch @O2 Bad frauds, I have **** signal unless on WiFi and every other month for the last few years I get txts saying they're doing works to improve the masts 🥴

  • mrs_corky Lisa (@mrs_corky) reported

Jeez @O2 what are you like?! You ask me to complete a survey. I leave some bad feedback on certain aspects and I'm told someone will get back to me to discuss the issues I've raised. All sounds good until your staff reach out to me spelling my name wrong. #o2MustTryHarder

  • j_whu_ J (@j_whu_) reported

@O2 Just checked. AT&T was the only one it registered with but calls still don't work. I think it was connected to AT&T anyway but just for data. 2 other people have DM'd me since I tweeted this having the same problem and someone else in my hotel has too. All with 02 from UK.

  • ESHRC1 The Horsey HR Lady (@ESHRC1) reported

Just gone to collect my new phone…. But the @O2 business upgrade team don’t work this late… the store is a franchise and doesn’t have the permissions…. Get it together! This isn’t great service 😢. Apparently I also get a paper contract… sure it’s 2022!

  • lifelesslemonad X (@lifelesslemonad) reported

@O2 hello, why am I still paying the same each month when your mobile network in North Lanarkshire is getting worse and worse?

  • VietecHeating Vietec Heating (@VietecHeating) reported

@HeatCalculation @O2 @VodafoneUK Yep, this also happened when 4G first came out, 3G became crap, I’m sure they slow down the existing network to make the new one seem more appealing, when in reality, it’s not really that much better

  • AnneOakes2 Anne Oakes (@AnneOakes2) reported

@O2 Can I have some help. Appallling service on phone. Now cut off. Have been trying x 12 plus to upgrade phone.Thank you.

  • chiefmackers Paul McClure (@chiefmackers) reported

So be careful ppl…if u buy a package deal with @virginmedia and @o2 and neither provide the service u bought, they will still lock you up in a contract they aren’t adhering to and charge you. Thank god for @ThreeUK or I would be completely without internet for 5 months at home

  • Max_HeadrO0m Max Headroom (@Max_HeadrO0m) reported

@O2 Just a heads up; ignoring a customers asking for help, when they're near the end of their contract, isn't a good look, guys. Especially considering I've been with you for years. I'll remember it when I'm up for renewal in 30 days. Perhaps I should take my custom elsewhere? 🤔

  • lauralhelm Laura Louise (@lauralhelm) reported
