  • jimstax Jim Ewen 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@jimstax) reported

Need to move away from @O2. Data deals are terrible and their MyO2 site is atrocious. Can’t access it, again, and running out of data. Need to shop around.

  • steve5424 Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@apakula @O2 Perhaps I've experienced both sides of the situation as a customer and an employee dealing with such things. The network I worked for as much as there were processes to follow things were mostly left to us to decided the outcome as we were top teir complaints.

  • AskAutistics Carly (@AskAutistics) reported

@O2 I’m so cross especially as I pay a fortune for a service that has zero signal always. I will be cancelling my contract that’s for sure!

  • grshorwich Godwin Stewart (@grshorwich) reported

@O2 Now, if you were to enable SMS over Wi-Fi like you've been promising for the last 4 years, I'd be less cheesed off. As it is now, I can't get into my bank, my PayPal account or even into my O2 account unless I go outside and hold the phone up looking like an idiot.

  • ws__21 ***** Stewart (@ws__21) reported

@HereCelts No phone signal on @O2 there and the WiFi is non existent

  • IAmRoKEN ross kennedy (@IAmRoKEN) reported

i honestly cannot wait to summer 2022 just so i can leave @O2 - worst decision i made switching to them 🤬 heaven forbid 4G works when im out and about…

  • steve5424 Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@apakula @O2 I would usually explain to the customer how our terms made it clear it was customers responsibility to end contract and also ofcom etc also advise customers to check banks accs regularly and monitor DDs. Then offer a max of 12 months refund as gesture of goodwill and close acc.

  • steve5424 Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@apakula @O2 Well O2 systems are all automated. People don't sit and monitor accounts. If you requested to cancel and they have notes confirming this and they didn't do it then the issue is theirs to fix and refund. I used to be customer relations for a different mobile network.

  • aqsakh1 💓 (@aqsakh1) reported

@O2 extremely poor service. Does anyone even answer your phones.

  • steve5424 Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@apakula @O2 I can't speak for them personally, however most contract T&Cs do state that after the minimum term ends its up to the customer to make contact and give notice. If its been years and you've not been looking at your bank then it's not their fault. Partial refund as goodwill maybe.
