@tabamatu @DrunkRes Erm - BT Group own Plusnet, and Openreach will still be responsible for the line. If connection issues are due to line noise, unless the router is better, may not make a huge difference...

@BBCBenThompson actually spoke with @Plusnet yesterday as I was out of contact paying over the odds asked if I could have the "new customer" deal was basically told no even though I have been a customer for many years. So I've cancelled for a cheaper deal. #nodiscountforloyalty

I've rang Plusnet 14 times totalling 7 hours of call time trying to sort the issue. I constantly get passed from provisioning, to technical, to faults in a vicious circle. Not acceptable at all. @plusnethelp @OpenreachHelp

@AndyShuttle @plusnethelp This sounds exactly like my problem with plusnet but I live in Andover, Hampshire. I don’t think it’s a local issue, it seems this is the standard for plusnet. Also causing me issues with homeworking.

@plusnethelp Prospective @Plusnet customers, don’t bother with this broadband provider. Customer service is appalling, online chat is OFFLINE! No surprise. DO NOT CHOOSE PLUSNET AS YOUR INTERNET PROVIDER @virginmedia I will be intouch very soon 😤

@padster1979 @virginmedia Seriously don’t bother. Pitiful reliability: not a day passes without connection issues. It does on rare occasions achieve 350 meg but I have to keep a Plusnet connection to the house for when Virgin fails on a daily basis.

@matthfield I had connectivity issues with two routers from plusnet. I ended buying a BT router on eBay and it works wonders.

Anyone got the email contact for someone that can actually help at @plusnet? They lost me my phone number, admitted their mistake then charged me to put it right. Complete **** up on their part and I'm now stuffed!! @MarcAllera
