    @BBCBenThompson actually spoke with @Plusnet yesterday as I was out of contact paying over the odds asked if I could have the "new customer" deal was basically told no even though I have been a customer for many years. So I've cancelled for a cheaper deal. #nodiscountforloyalty

    @tabamatu @DrunkRes Erm - BT Group own Plusnet, and Openreach will still be responsible for the line. If connection issues are due to line noise, unless the router is better, may not make a huge difference...

    @MartinSLewis My sister in Glasgow was with Plusnet they never haggled about the price she's now with Hyperoptic for £25 a month she gets 1GB hyper fast download speed against 65 megabytes download speeds of Plusnet and they were charging £36 a month on fibre to the cabinet FTTC connection

    @nw_nicholas @Plusnet Assume you've tried these. To speak with someone at Plusnet UK, call their customer service number 0330 1239 123. You can also call 0800 073 1120. For 12-month contracts, use the number 0330 1239 123.

    @Plusnet @Plusnet person clearly struggling on the phone- being slow in sending me the 100 pounds credit they promised not good service for a @bt_uk shareholder.

    PlusNet is useless. And I mean useless. New router and has failed us. £40 a month for a service that is not fit for purpose. Should have gone StarLink.

    @nw_nicholas @Plusnet Never been a plusnet customer so don’t know it will work but I do know they’re BT’s secret “cheap northern wifi” company.
