Mobile network in Cardiff has been down for hours. I've had to get a taxi to my 90 year old mother's house to check on her, who is also a #plusnet customer. We depend on telephone communication! No update or explanation from @plusnethelp @Plusnet #PlusnetProblems

@robertmain_ @plusnethelp Plusnet does support dialup yes. It might work better than VDSL the way things are currently going

@purpperil @Plusnet @plusnethelp I had 4 msgs delivered today, all sent by sender yesterday. Not downloading emails, can't connect to Twitter - all they said was "nobody else has rung in with the same complaint". Offered 20p for "loss of service".

@Plusnet In what world does it make sense to tell customers that you can directly move your contract to your new house no problem, but oh wait, we're going to charge you more per month and extend your contract by an extra 6 months. That's a whole new contract ?!

Looks like @Plusnet is having a bit of trouble. Awful connection all today and yesterday, with regular connection drops. And now their phone lines are fully down. I noticed that my contract is up when I visited their website. Will be holding out on renewing I think.

@RudiKershaw @Plusnet Strange as BT owns it they usually get preference when things go wrong... I was with EE but because I could get a better deal with BT who own them as well I went to them... must admit I prefer EE as their customer service is so much better

@Jessie_XL @Plusnet You need to keep your copper phone connection whilst you install FTTP. Once you have the new service set up you can either keep your landline (and pay the monthly charge) or ask your broadband provider to ‘port’ your landline to a VOIP telephone service with the same number
