@RhiwWard Yerburgh Avenue has been fighting an uphill battle with BT for weeks due to intermittent broadband faults on Plusnet and BT subscriptions. The exchange is where the fault is and it looks like they’re not willing to upgrade our cabinet. We need council support!!

@BibiLynch @plusnethelp They truly are horrific as an ISP, I thought BT were bad (I ran up £70 in phone data charges one month at uni doing research as WiFi was 💀) & £35 on train tickets to get to someone’s house to use their wifi- won’t seem much but it was 10 occasions) but their kid Plusnet is worse

@bt_uk @EE @Plusnet BT Broadband services is horrible. Getting speed of 1-2 MBps for paying 43£ for a minimum 25 MBps guaranteed speed. BT has not bothered to sort it out in spite of several calls/complaints. Doesn't allow to cancel/exit contract when minimum contractual obligations are not met

is there any wat to cancel with @Plusnet without waiting on hold for over half an hour? I’ve spoken to one guy after 8 minutes but he couldn’t do it. Been in a queue for 25 minutes since!

And now Plusnet refuse to replace my router as it’s “out of warranty”, well my contract isn’t, and without a working router, I can’t use your service, so I’ll be moving elsewhere, Pitiful customer experience yet again @MarcAllera

@winkleink @MikeBookham @virginmedia Yes, but you could get the new provider in place and then cancel Virgin. I have Plusnet fibre which is FTC and I am getting 35Mb/s, down and 7Mb/s, I have a server backing up to cloud, I’m working from home and kids are home schooling and it’s fine.
