Credit to the call centre employee for his honesty though. Will be cancelling on monday. Did not do me proud.

Ⓖ Ⓘ Ⓛ Ⓔ Ⓢ (@GilesDMiddleton) reported@funkysi1701 @Plusnet I had a similar problem last year. Even when wired up to the router and disconnecting everything else. Listening to the phone line through a handset it was all static. They had to dig up my garden and some of the street as the wires to and from my T bar had corroded. Good luck.
