  • paulm19822012 Paul McGee 2E0EIJ (@paulm19822012) reported from Richmond, England

with the YouView box now refusing to do anything, again, I have reinstated the bypass and tuned the TV directly seeing as the distribution amp in the building is operating normally again, a call to Plusnet is in order to see if they can get me a new box or if not cancel the tv

  • GarethPc1237 Gareth Jones (@GarethPc1237) reported from Well, England

Any one else have problems with @plusnet? I used them, in the guise of John Lewis Broadband. Cancelled in June due to very slow Internet speed but they have continued to take payment despite the account being closed and phone calls trying to sort it out. 😠😠😠

  • GarethPc1237 Gareth Jones (@GarethPc1237) reported from Well, England

@sugarcubehouse @Plusnet Thanks already contacted by phone and currently waiting for a manager to call me back. Within 5 working days. Customer service very poor so far. So much for the adverts 😠😠😠

  • paulm19822012 Paul McGee M0WNU (@paulm19822012) reported from Richmond, England

A few annoyances today, overcharged by a few pounds by Plusnet (a charge they said they'd apply in July) and the incompetent morons at Northern Powergrid sending me emails about the future of the network that they fail to maintain, not sure how the latter got my email address

Honestly, anyone thinking of joining @Plusnet, please don't. Only been with them 41 days and i don't think i have had 2 straight days of no problems. Wish i stayed with @vodafone or went with @BT... However now im trapped for another 17 months :(

  • PeterMaude Peter Maude (@PeterMaude) reported

@GlennPegden @BlueTeamHackers Such a good point, could I get my mother in law to use a password manager (not a chance). I could convince her to write the passwords down and ensure plusnet (still storing pwds in tbe clear) has its own. Yes

  • therealwaynemcc Wayne McCarron (@therealwaynemcc) reported

@Plusnet - New customer with a "guaranteed" down speed of 59.6mbps but getting less than 20mbps. I find the service less than satisfactory. Having to repeatedly chase a solution with your CS team, get nowhere, and be warned of a potential £65 charge is unacceptable. #SortIt 🤬

  • Ruthmw Ruth Wells (@Ruthmw) reported

Anyone else have real problems with @Plusnet @plusnethelp internet? We’ve switched wireless channels so many times to try & get a decent internet speed. Now zilch internet.

  • gilby1985 Sarah-jayne Gilbert (@gilby1985) reported

@Plusnet @plusnethelp 1) you disconnected us instead of upgrading our package and now we have been left with no internet connection for 4 weeks and counting. No one will take responsibility for the issue! An issue that you created! We work from home and depend on the internet for work.

  • akakko86 Ash 🟨🟥 (@akakko86) reported

@_R3deemer So PlusNet is half the speed where I am for £24.99 and I need to send my Virgin TV Box/Router back, Legit half tempted to wait a month and get someone else in the house to sign up to virgin, so we get the new customer deal. But then again, they are bastards.

  • prattys_magda21 Prattys naughty cupcake. (@prattys_magda21) reported

What tf is wrong with @Plusnet? They've succeeded in causing me distress yet again! They failed to send me a payment due date reminder last month, and said it "must have been a technical issue", but are refusing to take full responsibility for that issue. They just like getting

  • Julie72483798 Julie (@Julie72483798) reported

@plusnethelp Hi thank you for your reply. However a 'goodwill' gesture isn't really what we should get, our internet has been transferred to Plusnet for 5 days and we still don't have a router. We have someone who works from home here. We r paying for a service we don't have.

  • gilby1985 Sarah-jayne Gilbert (@gilby1985) reported

@Plusnet no internet for 4 weeks due to you disconnecting us. You are still taking our money but cannot resolve the issue! Absolutely abysmal! We are about to loose our jobs as we work from home!

  • rdt_daveevans Dave Evans (@rdt_daveevans) reported from Sheffield, England

@bt_uk This is some of the best customer service I have seen! “Although Plusnet use the same Openreach lines and they can provide an SLT of 80/20...At the moment there is not availability in the BT slots in order to move your SLT to 80/20...” time to give up and switch!
