Thanks @Plusnet. Another unhappy customer. Signed up 1 month ago. Still no broadband. Put back again with no comms to advise. Credit to the call centre employee for his honesty though. Will be cancelling on monday. Did not do me proud.

"I was also advised that as you don't want to have any account with us any more a cancellation fee would be applied as we have opened up a new account for you to fix this problem but you no longer wish to stay with us" @Plusnet 👌20 days for a new line. That's why I cancelled.

Currently very disappointed by @Plusnet - a month ago we signed up for a broadband connection for the new house, to be ready roughly when we moved. We've been in the house for a fortnight and it's still not available. Worst is the communication has been so poor.

@theabingdontaxi Glad you’re getting a discount but frustrating, isn’t it. We switched to BT a couple of years ago from PlusNet (owned by BT) because BT’s equipment was so much better & we were frustrated with PlusNet’s attitude. It’s difficult, I hear good & bad things about all the providers.

@Plusnet Plus, I have neurodiverse kids, who have sensory issues. An intermittent, unstoppable static noise isn't great for them. And turning off the 5GHz capability isn't a solution. I'm not paying for a service without full capability.

@Plusnet I have been a loyal customer since 2011, and am leaving because you forced me to take out an 18 month contract and then at the end of the contract doubled, yes doubled the price of my broadband, denying me access to a perfectly ok contract reserved for "new customers" ..

@Plusnet Plusnet, what on earth is going on with your service? I've been a customer for years and this has been the worst sustained service I've had. Constantly dropping off, up to a dozen times a day. Are there works in the area disrupting services? Any info, timescales etc.?

@Plusnet Spent 20 mins on phone to support and no answer so: Phone line went dead yesterday evening and no VDSL either. This morning VDSL back but line still has no dial tone but very loud crackles. Number : 01386751738 Followed your troubleshooter but comes back as "UNCLEAR"
