@Plusnet please can someone help? Iโ€™m sat with my elderly parents who have been on hold for over 50 minutes. Not fantastic customer service so far!

Thanks @Plusnet. Another unhappy customer. Signed up 1 month ago. Still no broadband. Put back again with no comms to advise. Credit to the call centre employee for his honesty though. Will be cancelling on monday. Did not do me proud.

  • xray13
steven williams (@xray13) reported from Polesworth, England

@Plusnet I'm not even a customer yet and my broadband has been delayed! But you took my first payment out quicker than I can say plusnet I'm beginning to think I have made a mistake

  • Lockstock277
Matt Wood (@Lockstock277) reported from Rugby, England

"I was also advised that as you don't want to have any account with us any more a cancellation fee would be applied as we have opened up a new account for you to fix this problem but you no longer wish to stay with us" @Plusnet ๐Ÿ‘Œ20 days for a new line. That's why I cancelled.

  • jnlangton
joseph langton (@jnlangton) reported from Braunstone, England

    @UswitchUK #plusnet is cheap crap

  • RP_VictorHarvey
Ruth Illing (@RP_VictorHarvey) reported from Rugby, England

@Plusnet Itโ€™s also been so odd that the faults team has emailed when they promised to call. The problem is no internet - how does an email keep them informed?

@Owramgirl @bt_uk I'm considering Vodaphone if price is the main concern, Plusnet is also on that list. Zen if I decide to pay more for a company that seems more customer focused. All are cheaper than the best offer from BT.

@Plusnet - I am trying to contact you. I went to your website, it said to message you here. I messaged you here, your message service told me to go to your website. My phone is broken and my internet has been cut - I am unable to get hold of you. Please check your messages

    Frog Princess ๐Ÿธ (@TheDivineFrog) reported

@SamiC0hen @Plusnet Oh no Sami, that sounds terrible, was there any minimum term on your rental property? And has your work company given you any indication how long youโ€™ll keep your jobs for? My heart goes out to you, what a big worry ๐Ÿ˜ž

  • matthewb79
    Matthew Broadway (@matthewb79) reported

@Plusnet only getting 20mbps when itโ€™s usually over 100. Is there an issue?

  • radioclashblog
(((Tim from Radio Clash))) ๐ŸŒˆ ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ–ค (@radioclashblog) reported

Sadly we are still last mile copper here, no Community/Open Reach fibre yet but we do have Virgin Media (old cable)... Yes I know...but I suspect support will be as **** like nearly all of them now....if Plusnet wasn't dropping phones and Zen wasn't hyper expensive I'd use them.

  • peztyke
    peztyke (@peztyke) reported

@JoshCF_ Just switch if the retention team dont offer new customer price. But bear in mind virgin, brsk and a few other companies require a new drill through in the property because they don't use the same fibre line. Plusnet use the same line and bt so it would just be a ont change.

@Benleo Never been a customer of theirs but Itโ€™s probably a very close tie between them, BT, Three, EE & Plusnet. The needs of the customer are totally irrelevant

  • RedDyke69
    Red **** (@RedDyke69) reported

@Benleo Damn those half-Spanish-owned companies, eh? Why not go with a good solid British-owned broadband provider like Zen Internet, Plusnet or Andrews & Arnold or even good old BT! It seems a classic case of โ€œdo as I say, not as I doโ€ โ€” preaching economic nationalism while happily relying on foreign-owned services to **** up your broadband !

  • bigdavesnokia
    Big Dave (@bigdavesnokia) reported

@ArmchairAdml Got my mum Plusnet full fibre 145 package for 25 quid (existing customer 2Y contract) and 1p mobile 1000 mins and 10gb data for ยฃ7.20 recently (no contract). She's 82 and makes most of her calls on WhatsApp and telegram nowadays anyway. Did have to do away with the landline tho.

  • Greymayce
    GeeMan (@Greymayce) reported

@tina0402x The trouble is all other providers BT Plusnet etc apart from Virgin use the same cabling, be it copper or fibre it all comes from the exchange. I worked at BT and this was explained by an engineer in the training. Copper is being phased out.
