From recent experience I can confirm this tweet is total nonsense. Iโ€™m moving all of my services elsewhere. Customer service 0/10, shambles. I suggest you all check if you can get a better deal elsewhere. (@Plusnet expect my call)

Donโ€™t ever get @Plusnet broadband! Tried to cancel within 14 days of it going live due to it being absolutely useless, to then be told the cooling off period was from when I signed up!! ๐Ÿคฌ. (Had to switch the WiFi off to tweet this)

  • remenos
Joanne Emerson (@remenos) reported from Sherburn Hill, England

@PickGS @Plusnet @plusnethelp Itโ€™s blatant profiteering - I need broadband to work from home and Iโ€™m now paying ยฃ35 instead of ยฃ22 - and to think their selling point was excellent UK customer service ๐Ÿ™„

  • Johnad25
John Adams (@Johnad25) reported from Durham, England

@benjymous @Plusnet Sounds much more like it from their customer services. Iโ€™ll try and use the referral code if I can, but it may clash with the Bluelight discount my wife gets. Gouging a #keyworker in a global crisis isnโ€™t classy thanks again @EE.

@Plusnet Disgusting practice fining my 91yo mother for cancelling her phone service early due to moving home for health reasons. No sympathy shown by your staff either. Cold heartless company.

  • OriginalBigBri
    Bri ๐Ÿ’™ (@OriginalBigBri) reported

@Plusnet This is the 21st century! I don't want to go through a bunch of phone menus that don't even have the option I need, to then be told the wait time is over 20 minutes, just to open a support ticket. Why can't I just login and create a support request ?

  • MarkHowitt
    GM Mark Howitt (@MarkHowitt) reported

@bt_uk Slighty worried about @Plusnet cust service as a @bt_uk shareholder... he said it wasn't part of his job to know about the direct debit guarantee!

  • AndyGraysdouble

Before BT/EE ever regale us with what they do in AI they might first get round to getting vulnerable customer digital switchovers done quickly and seamlessly- a total shambles @BT @EE @Plusnet

  • amandajp17
    Amanda Phillipson (@amandajp17) reported

Itโ€™s driving me insane at the moment trying to sort out my parents phone and internet - at a distance because they live 200 miles away. @Plusnet your customer service to two 81 year olds who donโ€™t understand the tech is appalling.

  • MarkHowitt
    GM Mark Howitt (@MarkHowitt) reported

@Ofcom Poor overall @Plusnet couldn't even give me some credit for overcharging me... may have to go to @Ofcom

  • cureisworse
    TheCureIsWorseThanTheDisease (@cureisworse) reported

@Plusnet Ok. I will wait for them to contact me then as I'm not chasing again, given I get ofcom-mandated compensation for missed appointments and delays of starting a service after an agreed date.
