Plusnet Issues Reports Near Crook, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Crook and nearby locations:

  • Johnad25 John Adams (@Johnad25) reported from Durham, England

@benjymous @Plusnet Sounds much more like it from their customer services. I’ll try and use the referral code if I can, but it may clash with the Bluelight discount my wife gets. Gouging a #keyworker in a global crisis isn’t classy thanks again @EE.

  • SeanHadland Sean Hadland (@SeanHadland) reported from Darlington, England

@plusnethelp Plusnet, I stopped contacting you a while back because of my frustration with your service. I was promised call backs which never happened and other responses. The reality is that I’m still without a service that you promised me at the start of the contract

  • LeDreamboat Scott ⚫️⚪️ (@LeDreamboat) reported from Sacriston, England

Don’t ever get @Plusnet broadband! Tried to cancel within 14 days of it going live due to it being absolutely useless, to then be told the cooling off period was from when I signed up!! 🤬. (Had to switch the WiFi off to tweet this)

  • HannahRose1401 Hannah Jeffrey 🇪🇺 (@HannahRose1401) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England

Has your Internet gone down @plusnethelp @Plusnet? NHS worker struggling to work from home here.

  • Johnad25 John Adams (@Johnad25) reported from Durham, England

From recent experience I can confirm this tweet is total nonsense. I’m moving all of my services elsewhere. Customer service 0/10, shambles. I suggest you all check if you can get a better deal elsewhere. (@Plusnet expect my call)

  • remenos Joanne Emerson (@remenos) reported from Sherburn Hill, England

@PickGS @Plusnet @plusnethelp It’s blatant profiteering - I need broadband to work from home and I’m now paying £35 instead of £22 - and to think their selling point was excellent UK customer service 🙄

  • fredspoon Philip 👌🏼 (@fredspoon) reported from Chester-le-Street, England

Broadband down at home @Plusnet not great said there some fault needs and engineer.

@tamikonatsu Thank you for confirming that. As that's the case, it's unlikely that the fault lies with your internal wiring or equipment. Please let me know if you continue to have connection problems as we can arrange another engineer visit if so. Regards, Emily Plusnet Leeds 🌞

  • thisismattuk Matt Ross (@thisismattuk) reported

@els76uk 80 down, 20 up. I did some looking around yesterday and have found Plusnet offer the same (and static IPs we need) for just £27/month! Alas FTTP isn’t available at this house, yet :(

  • holisticslen Leonard Van-Arendsen (@holisticslen) reported

@Plusnet I am a customer with you and I can no longer live on my own I am moving in with family. But Plusnet is saying I have to pay over one hundred pounds to end my contract. I don’t have the money I am 70 years of age. Can you please me. My family have their own provider

  • Plusnet Plusnet (@Plusnet) reported

@Chanlouise94 Hi Chantelle, thanks for getting in touch. For any faults, should the issue last longer than 2 working days after the issue was raised to us; then a credit will be applied to your account to go against your next bill. -Tony Plusnet Sheffield

  • tamikonatsu Amy Duffield (@tamikonatsu) reported

@Plusnet Only thing I can't do is check phone as I've never had a landline phone due to no need for it. Router has always been plugged into the master socket (it's only around 5ft from master socket to my PC).

  • capnhex Mark Hyde (@capnhex) reported

@Plusnet You said: 'Engineer notes show that some excavation work is required to enable the installation, work is due to resume on that tomorrow so I'll check back for updates then before getting back in touch.' No sign of any @OpenreachHelp engineers today, certainly no digging or fix.

  • Chanlouise94 Chantelle Louise (@Chanlouise94) reported

@Plusnet Hi, can someone confirm if I’ll be having a discount or money off my next bill due to the issues I were experiencing please? Thankyou

  • tamikonatsu Amy Duffield (@tamikonatsu) reported

@Plusnet Not sure what you can access your end, but I did have an issue a few months ago relating to external cabling (general wear and tear on covers etc). Not had another disconnect since around 10:48am. Did have to restart router to get back to normal speeds though

  • nikoscoulson Nikos Coulson (@nikoscoulson) reported

@Plusnet Absolutely shocking fault resolution service! Issue escalated and it’s gone nowhere and you aren’t listening to what the probable issue is. Instead you’re keeping me hanging on for over 24 hours with no contact or solution time. #rubbish #badservice

  • garyvince1981 Gary Vince (@garyvince1981) reported

@Plusnet Hi, it was slow across the board but it rectified itself at about 10am.
