Plusnet Issues Reports Near Crook, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Crook and nearby locations:

  • remenos Joanne Emerson (@remenos) reported from Sherburn Hill, England

@PickGS @Plusnet @plusnethelp It’s blatant profiteering - I need broadband to work from home and I’m now paying £35 instead of £22 - and to think their selling point was excellent UK customer service 🙄

  • Johnad25 John Adams (@Johnad25) reported from Durham, England

From recent experience I can confirm this tweet is total nonsense. I’m moving all of my services elsewhere. Customer service 0/10, shambles. I suggest you all check if you can get a better deal elsewhere. (@Plusnet expect my call)

  • HannahRose1401 Hannah Jeffrey 🇪🇺 (@HannahRose1401) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England

Has your Internet gone down @plusnethelp @Plusnet? NHS worker struggling to work from home here.

  • Johnad25 John Adams (@Johnad25) reported from Durham, England

@benjymous @Plusnet Sounds much more like it from their customer services. I’ll try and use the referral code if I can, but it may clash with the Bluelight discount my wife gets. Gouging a #keyworker in a global crisis isn’t classy thanks again @EE.

  • SeanHadland Sean Hadland (@SeanHadland) reported from Darlington, England

@plusnethelp Plusnet, I stopped contacting you a while back because of my frustration with your service. I was promised call backs which never happened and other responses. The reality is that I’m still without a service that you promised me at the start of the contract

@Nanafriar I'm so sorry that it's not working out for us but I hope we can get you on-board with Plusnet in the end 🤞 Just to let you know that I've sent you a DM and I hope to hear back from you 👍 - James in Sheffield

  • sensembuts sensembuts (@sensembuts) reported

@Plusnet unable to send email from my webmail madasafish account. Receiving emails ok, just problems sending. Can you help?

  • 6446Shelley Michelle Archer (@6446Shelley) reported

@Plusnet Wow incredible #pricehike announced from #Plusnet! Their prices for phone packages (anytime calls etc) had already doubled in the time I've been with them. I will need to make adjustments to my plan. I've always appreciated their customer service but this is too much.

  • gingerburn Will Burn (@gingerburn) reported

Dear @Plusnet, I don't object to waiting a bit to speak to your rep. I do, however, object to your bloody awful hold music. It's ten to ten on a Thursday morning, 2am on the strip in Ayia Napa.

  • pipmadeley Pip (@pipmadeley) reported

@nhh322000 @Plusnet Glad your problem got sorted. Sadly this is a complete loss of DSL disconnection, different issue.

  • pipmadeley Pip (@pipmadeley) reported

@imkSushi @Plusnet This started as a single drop but now it goes on for over four hours a night so problem clearly getting worse. Close friend is a network engineer and suspects a re-profiling issue with the equipment at the exchange. Clearly something out of my control now.

  • addierfc adam kinnear (@addierfc) reported from Ormiston, Scotland

@Plusnet my broadband contract ran out on 31st Jan and I renewed / upgraded well before this but earliest install date I could get for the new service is 14th Feb. I have now been billed for the out of contract rate, very poor service for a loyal customer of yours.

  • Azrall Allan 'Azrall' Bott (@Azrall) reported

Anyone have issues with switching Broadband to @Plusnet ? In particular, them setting up your connection and just not sending you hardware?

  • JackieKane Jackie Kane (@JackieKane) reported

@Plusnet were brilliant today. What a change to be dealing with a comms company with a speedy response, a team that listened and were uber helpful. There is still good customer service out there!

  • imkSushi imkSushi (@imkSushi) reported

@pipmadeley @Plusnet I have a very similar issue at home (we're with BT): At roughly 00:48 every night, the internet drops out for a few minutes. So it might be something beyond PlusNet (my guess is that there's something crucial somewhere that restarts in the middle of the night every night)
