A few annoyances today, overcharged by a few pounds by Plusnet (a charge they said they'd apply in July) and the incompetent morons at Northern Powergrid sending me emails about the future of the network that they fail to maintain, not sure how the latter got my email address

  • GarethPc1237 Gareth Jones (@GarethPc1237) reported from Well, England

Any one else have problems with @plusnet? I used them, in the guise of John Lewis Broadband. Cancelled in June due to very slow Internet speed but they have continued to take payment despite the account being closed and phone calls trying to sort it out. 😠😠😠

  • GarethPc1237 Gareth Jones (@GarethPc1237) reported from Well, England

@sugarcubehouse @Plusnet Thanks already contacted by phone and currently waiting for a manager to call me back. Within 5 working days. Customer service very poor so far. So much for the adverts 😠😠😠

  • paulm19822012 Paul McGee 2E0EIJ (@paulm19822012) reported from Richmond, England

with the YouView box now refusing to do anything, again, I have reinstated the bypass and tuned the TV directly seeing as the distribution amp in the building is operating normally again, a call to Plusnet is in order to see if they can get me a new box or if not cancel the tv

  • SeanHadland Sean Hadland (@SeanHadland) reported from Darlington, England

@plusnethelp Plusnet, I stopped contacting you a while back because of my frustration with your service. I was promised call backs which never happened and other responses. The reality is that I’m still without a service that you promised me at the start of the contract

  • AJWombat78 AJ (@AJWombat78) reported

@OpenreachHelp been waiting for a new line via Plusnet since 21st Dec. Need it for work but have been let down repeatedly. Next appointment 8th Jan!! Cannot work without it.

  • RodgerMeiklejo3 Rodger Meiklejohn (@RodgerMeiklejo3) reported

My friend is 82 years old we reported a fault to Plusnet on the 20 November. Her internet connection speed is now .3 well below the minimum allowed by law. Today New Years Eve Plusnet phoned to talk her through the problem. What a joke.

  • DeeJWatto Denise Watson (@DeeJWatto) reported

@Plusnet thank you to a lovely lady called Jess Moore who work’s in customer support. Since the begging of December she has been calling me and advising me on how to fix the disconnection my broadbands keeps having. On Tuesday an engineer came out and I do believe it has worked

  • joy__miriam Joy (@joy__miriam) reported

@Plusnet But not when you find out how heartless you are. I had to increase broadband April at start of pandemic because couldn't get through to tech support and speed had plummeted. Now being charged early exit fee to leave after over five years. Will never return.

  • Batesy65 John Bates (@Batesy65) reported

@Plusnet your customer services advisor has asked me to get you to book an Openreach engineer to attend the account holder's premises ref question #209435748. The phone line is very very noisy at times (no pattern to it) - bad enough to have to resort to a mobile phone!

  • JohnHughesIT John Hughes (@JohnHughesIT) reported

Pinging loopback and pinging the router both show nothing wrong inside the machine or the local network - the problem is within the Plusnet network.

  • JohnRob77422864 John Robertson (@JohnRob77422864) reported

@steveclark1955 @plusnethelp @Plusnet Not good at all Steve. No way to treat a customer. Change your supplier to a reliable service.

  • EidotheaKnows Alicia Walton (@EidotheaKnows) reported

@plusnethelp @Plusnet why are you charging me more and more each month (upwards of £40) for internet that does not work! I am an NHS worker with 4 kids who have to stay home #help

  • VAVelocity Naomi Campbell (@VAVelocity) reported

@plusnethelp Been charged for a call to another PlusNet customer, can you let me know how I can get a refund? Thanks.

  • AmandipSidhu2 Amandip Sidhu (@AmandipSidhu2) reported from Watford, England

@plusnethelp Having been told by you FIVE separate times that line is all clear, how can I be sure this is the truth now? I am fed up of phoning my new provider to verify what Plusnet tell me..incredibly poor service and a lack of attention to detail.
