with the YouView box now refusing to do anything, again, I have reinstated the bypass and tuned the TV directly seeing as the distribution amp in the building is operating normally again, a call to Plusnet is in order to see if they can get me a new box or if not cancel the tv

  • paulm19822012 Paul McGee M0WNU (@paulm19822012) reported from Richmond, England

A few annoyances today, overcharged by a few pounds by Plusnet (a charge they said they'd apply in July) and the incompetent morons at Northern Powergrid sending me emails about the future of the network that they fail to maintain, not sure how the latter got my email address

  • SeanHadland Sean Hadland (@SeanHadland) reported from Darlington, England

@plusnethelp Plusnet, I stopped contacting you a while back because of my frustration with your service. I was promised call backs which never happened and other responses. The reality is that I’m still without a service that you promised me at the start of the contract

  • GarethPc1237 Gareth Jones (@GarethPc1237) reported from Well, England

Any one else have problems with @plusnet? I used them, in the guise of John Lewis Broadband. Cancelled in June due to very slow Internet speed but they have continued to take payment despite the account being closed and phone calls trying to sort it out. 😠😠😠

  • GarethPc1237 Gareth Jones (@GarethPc1237) reported from Well, England

@sugarcubehouse @Plusnet Thanks already contacted by phone and currently waiting for a manager to call me back. Within 5 working days. Customer service very poor so far. So much for the adverts 😠😠😠

  • plugincarguy plugincarguy (@plugincarguy) reported

Switched my landline phone over easily to VOIP (same number) via my internet service provider @aaisp and now I'm paying £1.20 per month instead of the £21.22 I was paying Plusnet (since I moved away from Plusnet broadband). I should have done this a long time ago.

  • SalnPage Sal Page (@SalnPage) reported

Hoping parents' phoneline is back on today. My poor Mum, battling with the mobile & my Dad used to know all about phones years ago. His job was designing telephone exchanges. I keep bothering @Plusnet ... their customer services are so good.👍

  • SenseiAsad Asad Mustafa (@SenseiAsad) reported

@NinaPinOD @Plusnet Support said the issue is with openreach and that it’d be sorted by 4am today (clearly wasn’t), then half 8 tonight (also a no, although it was back for an hour or so before going again). Whereabouts are you based? We’re in Warrington WA5.

  • Delilah71847825 Delilah (@Delilah71847825) reported

@plusnethelp @Plusnet I had the same problem a few weeks ago! It took ages trying to sort it out! Something had been switched that should not have been. 10 points to the guy who got me reconnected - but here I am again, no internet!

  • meta127 Name Not-Important (@meta127) reported

@Plusnet It's also great that the EE site won't let me report the outage since it doesn't recognise Plusnet numbers, as if we're second class citizens.

  • timmybanana Tim Wright (@timmybanana) reported

@jon_newsome @Plusnet We switched to Plusnet cos we were unhappy with our previous 2 suppliers.........Plusnet are far and away the worst we've ever had and we can't wait till our contract is up so we can change again

  • RJM_83 rob (@RJM_83) reported

@jon_newsome @Plusnet They are ****. I would cancel if you have a grace period and use someone else

  • PeteDobo83 Pete Dobson (@PeteDobo83) reported

@jon_newsome @Plusnet We went with them and they cocked it up twice …. Just emailed to cancel.. decided to go with Vodafone and so far so good!!

  • PamCrossland Pam Crossland - Pandemic ISN'T over ⚧ 🧜‍♀️ 🧜‍♂️ (@PamCrossland) reported

Right, Just signed up for ordinary broadband (not Fibre) on Plusnet. Should start in about two weeks. 18.99 for up to 10MBS with unlimited downloads. After years with talktalk, they couldn't guarantee go below £20 and shell had too many poor reviews.

  • elizabethberre1 Elizabeth Berrett (@elizabethberre1) reported

If you’re a student, please never go with Plusnet. My housemates and I have been waiting since 20th September for a router to be delivered. All we are being told is that they’ll send a new one out. No accountability whatsoever to find out what’s happening. Absolute joke @Plusnet
