As an IT consultant I've dealt with many other ISPs, most of whom have had similar issues.

It could be a node, it could be a cable, a pole, hell.. it could even be another user of that same net that has a device that's faulty, which results in a very unstable connection for you and A LOT of other users of that same cable that goes through your den. GeeMan (@Greymayce) reported@tina0402x The trouble is all other providers BT Plusnet etc apart from Virgin use the same cabling, be it copper or fibre it all comes from the exchange. I worked at BT and this was explained by an engineer in the training. Copper is being phased out.
