@TheEddChina @Parky1919 @Plusnet @plusnethelp I have to say I've been with them for 18 years, and any problems I've had with the service have usually been down to Openreach, or the crumbling local infrastructure. As an IT consultant I've dealt with many other ISPs, most of whom have had similar issues.

@gareth_p1 @virginmedia I've just seen this post, it reminded me to call and negotiate a better price, now I am a customer of PlusNet - they offered me £31.99 PCM for 910Mbps, £140 voucher and 7 copies of Norton 360...... 15 years i've been with Virgin.

@Jimmc82 @Plusnet Plus net has a DNS issue. If you set your DNS to Google 8.8.8.8 on your router under Advanced Settings, IPv4 Config by turning off Auto DNS Servers and entering 8.8.8.8 as primary it will work until they are back up
