Absolutely shocking customer service from @Plusnet Been trying to cancel mobile for a month but apparently insecurity to get through is my fault for not staying online in queue for hours or trying all day every day.

@TheEddChina @Parky1919 @Plusnet @plusnethelp I have to say I've been with them for 18 years, and any problems I've had with the service have usually been down to Openreach, or the crumbling local infrastructure. As an IT consultant I've dealt with many other ISPs, most of whom have had similar issues.

@Plusnet Hello, can you find out from your end what has caused my router to disconnect at least 3 times this morning, eventually restarting itself and now is completely red? Yes I can restart it manually but I am concerned about the frequency of the issue today. Thanks

@BSLterplife @weebitchilly Plusnet have got a good reputation. I think it is the router letting you down. Powerline are good - only if your house electrics are wired up correctly and in good nick.

@Plusnet Dear team, I have no internet since Friday evening. I was assured by your customer service team this was due to a major service outage in “my area”. Despite your website claiming all weekend there was good service. This was due to be resolved on Saturday at 4pm.
