@Plusnet I called your tech support yesterday and they confirmed we had service issues in CH47 on Sunday. I was told it was fixed, but still no service at the house today. It seems the signal is compromised in some way, can you advise please?

@parami @VodafoneUK I used to have Plusnet - they were okay but a bit unreliable/slow service at times. Have been with EE for a couple of years now, in 2 different places, and they've been great.

@aaron_cane At this point, the speeds/consistency/prices are all basically the same for most people, so my advice is to choose based on customer service ratings. We have plusnet, and they're the first ISP I've used where I've actually enjoyed speaking to them. NEVER go to EE.

no sign of promised refund. Time to contact ombudsman and start making a lot of public noise about this. Billing issues are a common problem with @Plusnet, particularly when contracts are renewed. The repeated incompetence causes real stress and anxiety for its victims.

@kooky_uk @alexbloor @Link2076 Maybe I'm jaded, but I feel the kind of people who read industry mags are the kind of people who "but it's not unlimited" and "but I can get plusnet for £1/month less" and "your service is ****, I know how this works better than you, I used to build Internet for the US Military!"
