Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Banwell and nearby locations:

  • leighcanham Leigh Canham (@leighcanham) reported from Cardiff, Wales

Mobile network in Cardiff has been down for hours. I've had to get a taxi to my 90 year old mother's house to check on her, who is also a #plusnet customer. We depend on telephone communication! No update or explanation from @plusnethelp @Plusnet #PlusnetProblems

  • true_gent78 Dale Tucker (@true_gent78) reported from Cardiff, Wales

Anyone else having Internet issues with @plusnethelp @Plusnet in #cardiff area? #plusnet

  • 50shadesofcoch derw (@50shadesofcoch) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@purpperil @Plusnet @plusnethelp I had 4 msgs delivered today, all sent by sender yesterday. Not downloading emails, can't connect to Twitter - all they said was "nobody else has rung in with the same complaint". Offered 20p for "loss of service".

  • 50shadesofcoch derw (@50shadesofcoch) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@purpperil @Plusnet @plusnethelp Now having to reboot my phone every hour, phone is saying "no service" and I can only access 2G. 5 days and counting. #plusnetmobile

  • six4rm David Roberts (@six4rm) reported from Wookey, England

@Plusnet I'm supposed to go live today, no router received and no migration order to previous supplier. No answer on your phones and no response from @plusnethelp. Please help!

  • Smith_SM30 Sheila Smith 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇪🇺 #AlwaysEuropean (@Smith_SM30) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@phil__stanmore No, just tested via phone. I could try checking the line, yes, but I'm not convinced PlusNet are giving me the best service tbh.

  • imagescapegirl Sue Green (@imagescapegirl) reported from Weston-super-Mare, England

If you want a new broadband supplier don’t go to @Plusnet We @MarkOneMusic & I did. We had a broadband problem in Nov 2020 & reported it. It’s now almost Feb we still have broadband issues & no landline. 3 @OpenreachHelp engineers in house, way more outside. #useless

  • true_gent78 Dale Tucker (@true_gent78) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@Plusnet is there an issue with mobile? I’m unable to make any outgoing calls

  • ABFlynn13 Aine Flynn (@ABFlynn13) reported from Cardiff, Wales

Frequent outages, sometimes for hours at a time, painfully slow speeds when it does work, and it's impossible to get hold of you for help @Plusnet #plusnet

  • joannas94 Joanna (@joannas94) reported from Bristol, England

My 2 wishes for 2020 1) @Plusnet learn customer service and actually acknowledge a complaint 2) @WeAreOpenreach actually sort my broadband instead of giving a useless “update” every week 🙃🙃🙃

  • DeeRocker Danni Rochman (@DeeRocker) reported from Bristol, England

@PlusnetSupport @Plusnet I've also DM'd for exactly the same issue - please send a fix. Two of us unable to work from home.

  • TheEnbyperor ⧖🔶🏳️‍🌈✨impl Cat for Q (it/its)✨🏳️‍🌈🔶⧖ (@TheEnbyperor) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@robertmain_ @plusnethelp Honestly who knows, plusnet seem to suffer from general incompetence from my one (1) days experience trying to use their service

  • DeeRocker Danni Rochman (@DeeRocker) reported from Bristol, England

@PlusnetSupport @SeanWongUK @Plusnet Hi @SeanWongUK if you have a mo and could share the easy fix you were given by plusnet for this it would be greatly appreciated by two people working from home with no connection! Exactly the same issue as you.

  • Tim_JC Tim Clarke (@Tim_JC) reported from Weston-super-Mare, England

@Plusnet you having issues in BS23 area today. Major issues and I'm working from home. Not the service we signed up for.

  • Shosh_ukG SHOSH (@Shosh_ukG) reported from Bristol, England

@Plusnet your service is an ongoing letdown

  • TheEnbyperor ⧖🔶🏳️‍🌈✨impl Cat for Q (it/its)✨🏳️‍🌈🔶⧖ (@TheEnbyperor) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@robertmain_ @plusnethelp Plusnet does support dialup yes. It might work better than VDSL the way things are currently going

Plusnet Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • bluesbarbers Wendy KL Martini 🌈🇬🇧 (@bluesbarbers) reported

@Plusnet @plusnethelp worse customer service still!! Switch to fibre & they admitted forgetting to post modem but cut off my broadband no internet for a week & I need it for my job!! have to wait another week Still won’t send one out next day say I have to buy one elsewhere FFS

  • ultraman_ginger Twisted Tea Shep (@ultraman_ginger) reported

@rosstmiller Switched to Plusnet and they offered to set it up for me and call me back when it was done. Despite switching from cable to dial up, the speed is similar and it's much cheaper. They've been slower since lockdown, in fairness, but never had to call them.

  • vicster28 Victoria Barns (@vicster28) reported

Despite paying for fibre with @Plusnet my @disneyplus doesn’t want to play. Not sure where the issue is but don’t think it’s my internet that can stand Netflix and live streaming lessons but not Disney plus

  • GabrielleKawani Gabrielle Kawani (@GabrielleKawani) reported

@Plusnet @plusnethelp i need help, i have been trying to get in touch for 3 days and no one comes back to me, i have problems on the mobile internet and i use it for work. please if you can help me

  • Oxfordite Rupert wilson (@Oxfordite) reported

@plusnethelp Your reply almost, nearly, just about, answers my query. — the key question: Does Plusnet consider line termination within a property to be their responsibility as part of the service? I’d like something approaching a yes or no answer here..

  • Oxfordite Rupert wilson (@Oxfordite) reported

@TheLilSquidge @TalkTalk @Plusnet I hear you, though if you look at my recent tweets/replies, you will see the cost of poor customer service, unreliable broadband, and, even, the breaking of regulations and inability to escalate problems caused by some number of customer account errors.. 1/2

  • FarmerG5 Geraint Walters (@FarmerG5) reported

@OwsWills @martinjohnes @Plusnet We’re a bit further up and they’ve pretty much done where we are and making their way down I think? Just checked a random Armagh city postcode on the virgin website and says not available. Weird as there’s so many vans and engineers about

  • Oxfordite Rupert wilson (@Oxfordite) reported

@plusnethelp When does Plusnet, seeing 0.4mbps sync speed on customer migration line, decide that something is wrong on the line?

  • Tweet_Belle Isobel M (@Tweet_Belle) reported

@Plusnet Doesn't work. My rent and council tax are 50%. The remaining bills/food takes up 40-45% so lucky if I have £100 for the month after bills and food are taken care of. Oh and I work full time 40hrs a week

  • FlayPetty JFP 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@FlayPetty) reported

@OwsWills @Plusnet NowTV is def most cost effective. I do this and cancel when not in use and restart again I.E. in line with football season. No contract and easy replaceable stick if goes wrong.
