@systematicdata Thanks for this - Would never have figured it out otherwise. What a weird decision from BT and plusnet

@Plusnet is there a problem with Plusnet/BT DNS? YouTube on certain devices isn’t accessible on your standard DNS servers (which unbelievably aren’t configurable on your hub)…

Having such trouble porting some mobile number over @Plusnet, some number work but no service, others seem to be stuck in limbo. Can’t even dial these without hitting voicemail or getting number unavailable. Very poor service so far.

Just about had enough with @Plusnet!! Over 3 weeks without wifi, 2 engineers out and countless hours on the phone and on hold! And trying to give me a £50 bill for a service I ain’t had access too! Absolute joke!!! 😡

Anyone else finding YouTube won't load for them? "Cannot communicate securely with peer: no common encryption algorithm(s)." Is this a problem with my ISP @Plusnet?

Discovered the problem. BT and plusnet have apparently added YouTube to their parental settings so it won’t load unless parental controls are turned off. That’s a couple of million people that won’t be able to get on YouTube.

Disappointed with @Plusnet. Having switched broadband and landline, 6 days on and still no landline. Even more frustrating is having my emails to customer support ignored. This is not a good start

@DeoNonFortuna3 They are the ISP I recommend, on the basis of UK support, they are a branch of Openreach, so when you need support it costs them nothing, whereas none BT/Plusnet have to pay Openreach to investigate. They don't steal bandwidth/speed. The changeover can be a pain, but true of any.

@EddieRobson Hi Eddie, I'm really sorry to hear you're having trouble loading up Youtube. Is this happening on multiple devices and does the same thing occur when using another internet connection, like mobile data? -Tony Plusnet Sheffield
