Can it be that your auto sorting machine still doesn't recognize the postcode? Google still doesn't know it nor did Postoffice service finder online so it wouldn't surprise me.

If their response is rude and sullen then so be it,bring in the machines. Oh and the post office is being an arse about customs labels for EU post, everything needs one!
