@PostOffice 15 people in queue at Brighton Churchill Square post office and only one counter open. Self serve points all closed. The speed of service here becomes slower with every visit.

@PostOffice who can I complain to about staff running a local branch. They are rude, unhelpful and always seem to close well before their advertised time.

@RosieRem_x @PostOffice 🤯From a product design standpoint, it is insane to design a self-service machine that requires a human operator. I wonder if other considerations (employee agreements, etc) required it to be designed in such a way to necessitate employee involvement.

@RosieRem_x @PostOffice Thanks for the explanation. Yes it seems silly that a self-service machine relies on an employee to monitor and approve it continually. I can understand why the employees turn them off!

@PostOffice @RoyalMailHelp That would explain why my post office counter staff were grumpy when I asked them to stamp the proof of postage certificates. “That’s not the way we do things!” Joined up service? Not really.

@jeremy_irving Hi Jeremy, I'm really sorry about this. We are a separate company to @PostOffice who you would need to contact about the service in branch. If the item was a Tracked 24/48 one, this would need to be taken to one of our delivery offices or sent through a parcel/postbox. >Mayah
