@PostOffice That's if you didn't have rude and unhelpful staff, where posting a letter airmail turned out to be impossible. Not to mention the decimation of local post offices

@PostOffice I don't usually advocate for closing post offices BUT your post office on London Road Croydon is not for for purpose. I've never in my life heard of a post office that doesn't take coins. It has no real use to anyone.

Now then @RoyalMailHelp and @PostOffice I used special delivery. I checked 2 days after posting and package was signed for. Then I lost the receipt. Thought nothing of it until there’s an issue. Apparently the only record of that tracking number is on my receipt. That’s a lie.

@PostOffice unwelcoming, slow service, empty shelves, inefficient, staff ignoring the queue and just doing what appears to be nothing. No wonder people use other couriers now

@PostOffice Ive called them and she has to email her manager with my questions including why don’t the phone lines work. And I’m kept waiting on the line until he answers. What kind of second rate insurance policy is this? You managed to take my money easily but not offer a service.

Should probably add @PostOffice seeing as they should have advised me and never have accepted it… though if @RoyalMail’s guidance is anything to go by PO probably were in the dark too!

@PostOffice I have queried this before and then the branch accepted cash after 4pm but have since stopped again it seems. I know it’ll be separate but seems strange seeing as they’ll still take cash payments for packages etc. Anne on the counter was quite rude when I explained this too

I got two cards in the mail today. I moved in October, today I got a thank you card mailed November 12th (87 days ago) and a Christmas card mailed December 12th (57 days ago). The @USPS continues to clear a low bar of expectations. Someone should fix the #PostOffice.
