@EdwardJDavey Have you apologised to every single postmaster wronged by the @PostOffice for completely ignoring them when they sought your help and then trousered $250 k from the solicitors acting on their behalf?

@paulgilly @DonaldPond6 @PostOffice And also when Post Offices no longer exist, Royal Mail will whack their prices right up and no one will be able to stop them

  • darrensharp73
    Darren Sharp (@darrensharp73) reported

@DonaldPond6 @PostOffice Is this because Royal Mail wants cut out the post office completely, they are already converting post boxes to accept parcels with qr code readers, by passing the post office selling likely removes a large part of their commission and only pay a small handling fee

  • LilywhiteSimon

@JagsArthurson @afneil @PostOffice Post Office would never deliver it ~ they’re not a delivery company.

  • Jordon3Jane
    JaneJordon3 (@Jordon3Jane) reported

@gm2112rush @DonaldPond6 @PostOffice The Post office for decades was run as if it was a service provider of the Government and had 30,000+ outlets. The largest retail network in Europe yet the management and successive Governments totally missed the commercial opportunity to generate income/ profit s. They were some of the last to install ATMs, they farmed out Government services to other providers and the advent of internet transactions was the final naik- all of this went from very profitable Sub Post offices to loss making within about an 18 months period.

    maxx (@maxxbayo) reported

@SparkMinus When you make a sale online, a shipping label is provided, you just need to package it yourself and have your postal service either pick it up from your house or drop it off at the postoffice. Both are free

@tonydowney67 @PostOffice The government basically make it up as they go along, it’s disgraceful to treat innocent people like this. 🇬🇧
