Post Office Issues Reports Near Dunfermline, Scotland

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Dunfermline and nearby locations:

  • fucksakezoe Z (@fucksakezoe) reported from Inverkeithing, Scotland

@PostOffice Top notch service from the post office, didn’t get soaked!

  • andrewducker Andrew Ducker (@andrewducker) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@PostOffice Particularly at this time of year having to get to a post office, buy packing materials and boxes, take them home, pack things, and bring them back to post them is a pain. If you had experts in your larger units to wrap and pack I'd pay for the service!

  • SenoraEco Robin Cathcart (@SenoraEco) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@PostOffice @scanx4 Before I could say 'oh and I need to pay for the envelope too,' the guy at the front till started accusing me of stealing the bag and made a great show of publicly admonishing me! It was HORRIBLE and a shame that I now feel unable to go into my local post office.

  • shellbryson Shell Bryson (@shellbryson) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

    @Raphaelite_Girl @PostOffice @edinhelp I would not have a problem with that, surprisingly enough 😃

  • SenoraEco Robin Cathcart (@SenoraEco) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@PostOffice @scanx4 I too have had a horrible experience at the Davidsons Mains PO that has made me feel unable to use this branch. After buying/using a mailing bag whilst in a busy Christmas queue this year. I finally got to the till and said the package was headed I internationally.

  • Jusmasel2015 Tim McCormack (@Jusmasel2015) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@dolphinpcb @PostOffice Peter. Their remains so much inference from the name of the log file they still use. The Known Errors Log which logically implies there are errors they don't know about yet. These unknown errors are now the default reason for losses until POL can prove otherwise.

  • lynnpolkey Lynn (@lynnpolkey) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@PostOffice Waverley Mall PO - counter staff lovely. Member of staff dealing with ‘self-service’ tills, curt and unhelpful - perhaps a different position in the branch would be better for them?

  • lauranels Laura Nelson (@lauranels) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@PostOffice Thanks Ryan, I phoned the customer services number, great effort from the tech support person to help sort it out (think his name was Fraser). My broadband is still very patchy and dropping out sometimes, but hopefully will improve soon.

  • Chris_ESF Christopher Ferry (@Chris_ESF) reported from Ratho, Scotland

It's deeply concerning if @PostmanPat is the best the postal service has to offer on the frontline but having watched the 'Blue Flash' episode I realise that his laissez faire attitude extends to managers&those working behind the scenes. No wonder they're unprofitable #postoffice

  • cass4edinburgh CM (@cass4edinburgh) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@RoyalMailHelp @PostOffice It’s your website I booked the redelivery on! That’s a key issue here. And I have, believe me.

  • gm_glendamac59 GM🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@gm_glendamac59) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@PostOffice do post offices not have to be open as essential service? Local one to close from 1-9 January ‘22!

  • mikewatso Mike Watson COY🐝 (@mikewatso) reported

@nat_williams89 @PostOffice @WithensMan Yes, but it's often easier said then done. Three kids, and a resident thug watching every move you make? The worst abuse happens to the trapped

  • ecarlesi Emiliano Carlesi (@ecarlesi) reported

    Threat on hxxps://podepot-support[.]com/ #phishing #postoffice #enom

  • christine0046 Christine Taylor (@christine0046) reported

@PostOffice @bluedaysomeday Your quiz photos indicated that we need cash for beggars, tips and paying workmen. Not a strong argument for cash. We do need to support post offices though.

  • simonkensington Simon Kensington-Fellows (@simonkensington) reported

@ChrisNJWilliams @PostOffice A very poor analogy, cash is about choice, freedom and privacy. If you want to help out someone on a mean tested benefit you can give / loan them cash to help out without it impacting any future benefit payments - you lose the privacy with a bank transfer.

  • byronvanstien Byron (@byronvanstien) reported

@Listhebest2020 @PostOffice This is just so stupid I don’t know how to respond

  • carlafrancome Carla Francome (@carlafrancome) reported

@PostOffice @PostOffice it’s your very company that has abused 100s of people, what are you talking about? And yet you haven’t even apologised. You call it ‘historical’ like it was 200 years ago, which is gaslighting. You’re abusers yourselves. Literally would never put cash in a PO.

  • adamdalston Adam Alston (@adamdalston) reported

@ClaireEWebb @siany_d @PostOffice Trouble is, unlike a bank PO’s don’t have unlimited safe space, so can’t store loads of bulky change like a bank could. Ask to withdraw £X in coin rather than exchange it, if I had enough coins available for float and business customers I’d always give what I could on request

  • angeltheartist5 Angel Kershaw Artist (@angeltheartist5) reported

@PostOffice Yet you want to close #HaworthPostOffice ,move it down a very steep, long hill to inside a co-op that won't provide same service. You made the decision then claim you've launched a public consultation after the fact! Large population of elderly people can't walk back up that 1/2

  • taylor23469 Roger Taylor (@taylor23469) reported

@PostOffice @Glenlyon17 The PO not trying to promote a product? That's unusual. If they truly want to campaign about social problems they might be better served by donating to the charities concerned who help people like Jane.

  • siany_d Siân Davis (@siany_d) reported

@RupertVonLicht1 @PostOffice Did you ask them why they opened late? Operational issues are not always obvious to customers and staff 'having a chat' may be staff attempting to solve an issue
