Hope that the verdict is in favour of those poor @PostOffice workers. Total scandal the PO took it to court. Wonder if that was around the time they lost £100 we paid to HMRC and could not find a record of that payment.

  • reviewer2Geo Reviewer 2 does geoengineering (@reviewer2Geo) reported

@legalhackette @RichardMoorhead @PostOffice I hope they get a **** ton of compensation for the anguish and defamation

  • darrentedeschi darren tedeschi 🇦🇺 🇮🇹 (@darrentedeschi) reported

How disgraceful it is to know that @PostOffice knew it's IT system was faulty from the beginning yet still pointed fingers, blamed certain people, never let on that there were others being prosecuted, jailed and fined them only to find out later to have the cover-up exposed!

  • butlincat butlincat (@butlincat) reported

@nickwallis #UK #postoffice #scandal Pete Murray @SongMacom 34m software and corrupt personnel. software alone would not have wreaked anything near this amount of damage to so many.

  • geoff_rowe Geoff Rowe BEM (@geoff_rowe) reported

@AnnieBannister @PostOffice @PrivateEyeNews Sometimes it seems so unreal. How it could have happened. So, so awful for those employees involved.

  • rachaeleelliott Rachael Elliott MBA, Dip. Couns., MBACP (@rachaeleelliott) reported

@LBCNews This is one of the worst miscarriages of justice, ever. Pregnant women, mothers of young children sent to prison. People forced to sell houses to repay monies supposedly stolen. I hope these people make @PostOffice pay. Absolute disgrace.

@DavidLammy We need to understand why @PostOffice only apologised now. We do not need an inquiry. We need a police investigation to determine the criminality behind the court cases when @PostOffice officials knew there was a problem with Horizon but chose to prosecute innocents.

  • LipspeakerLinzi Linzi Weatherson 🖤🏳️‍🌈 (@LipspeakerLinzi) reported

Thinking of the 44 postmasters in Court today. To be accused of stealing, convicted of theft & in some cases put in prison because of a faulty IT system is just awful! Shame on you @PostOffice - you’ve already paid £58m in compensation, are we the public going to pay for this? 📮

  • DavidRacey David Racey 🇪🇺 (@DavidRacey) reported

@RevRichardColes Feel so bad for those poor people. Hopefully the @PostOffice will now compensated them immediately and the Gov, who have said they won't prosecute as it was 'too long ago' will look at the 2 soldiers being prosecuted on Mon for bloody Sunday and realise that's nonsense!

  • JustJanety Tenajme Esq 💙 (@JustJanety) reported

I had a friend who chose early retirement & closure of her sub #postoffice when these computer systems were brought in. The glitches and stress were awful. These people deserve justice #News #ThePostOffice
