    @santanderuk So what were the issues ? What caused it ? Was it the same as the outage in May ? Think of the embarrassment for people in shops not able to pay...it's not just about compensation for charges you know. What others banks have had 2 major outages in 6 months ?

    @santanderuk hello, i am trying to link a business master card to a PayPal account, and it says it the card was declined by the issuing bank, is this related to the card issue you have open?

    just adding myself to the list of people having major santander card issues. blocked multiple payments using contactless and chip and pin for the past 2 days. just letting you know @santanderuk

    @santanderuk I can't check out my @Tesco order, as it is saying the bank can't "validate my card" .. never had any problems, and plenty of funds - is this tied to to ongoing problems?

    @santanderuk Tried to make payments online, did not go through 3 times but the amounts are pending in my account, not available for me to get funds, please fix this ASAP

    @santanderuk A key payment I made yesterday hasn't gone through yet, and I will incur charges if that is not paid today. Will Santander reimburse me if you haven't fixed the card issues by then?

    @santanderuk I've had a large payment (rent!) come out twice this morning my landlord can only see 1 payment and my confirmation email & sms only show 1 payment, could this be part of the ongoing issues or something else?
