  ...@santanderuk took the settlement amount from my bank account. Almost £10,000. Eight days later, Santander have still not received the @webuyanycar amount. I am out of pocket. I have been trying to speak to someone, but as 'online Co' they do not have a dedicated customer..

  @santanderuk All the details entered in the app are the same as my online banking when I set the app up, so if there was a problem someone would have access to my online banking which they dont. Giving you a digital photo id is useless unless you can also view my face.

  @mturner1961 @santanderuk My 94 year old grandmother got the exact same thing. She no longer had a driving licence or passport so ultimately had to switch because Santander had restricted access. And she had the account for years and never had she been asked for this.

  @chaosprimeZ @santanderuk I can imagine! Their customer service for me was non existant. On the other hand, although I havent suffered fraud since, Nationwides branch staff have virtually fell over themselves to help with other queries.
